We used Genie+ last week (Feb 2-4) and had a really good experience, however, the crowds were the lowest I’ve seen in a while so I’m sure that had something to do with it.
Another Disney Chapek rip off. You get to pay twice for something you paid for on the gate and lucky you can get to queue as long too.
There seems to be no spacing out of guests that do buy it, not like the fairer and 3 complimentary fastpass system, that did work so much better and did although not perfect better spread people out. DON@T WASTE YOUR MONEY, too many people have said its not worth it, they cannot all be wrong.
Used it, honestly just wanted to see what all the hype was over it and will never use it again. Idea is a big POS and a RIP OFF! Won’t return to a Disney Park until GOOD, customer oriented changes are made instead of changes that simply exploit Disney customers. I believe Mickey finally took control of the parks!!! I’ll go to Hollywood Studios. Bye Disney!
Love the genie system. When you only go to disney once every 4 years we want to ride as much as we can. We were able to go on all the rides we wanted in the 4 days we were there. We do not eat at any sit down restaurants and we stay off-site so we can spend the extra money on rides and attractions. Also spent a lot of time before the trip learning about how to make the most of the genie system
Don’t buy genie then. It’s your choice. We choose to do as many rides as possible and apparently there are a lot of people who agree as when we were there the lightning lanes were well used.
I am not buying it okay Karen. Just so you know there are Disney employees who do not like it either and our doing their part to slow the LL lines and allow those people to get on the ride. So as the LL slows down we will see. Enjoy your once in decade trip to Disney.
I knew this lightning lane system was going to come back and bite people in the ass for using the thing. Here you have a huge number of people who selected a time and when they show up, it’s just like waiting in the regular lines.
Strong option is that Disney Is getting ready to pull this failed attempt at increasing revenue which is the brain child
