The Dining Plan was so worth it, and I hope it comes back. Sure it’s an additional cost, but after a couple days on a 14 day trip it pays for itself. My brother and I spent 12 days at Disney and 2 at Universal, the extra Table Service credits – as we used one each a day – for a 2 credit restaurant, the snack credits were well received and the quick service too, just meant that we could focus on enjoying the day without worrying about having money saved for the meals (though we did leave a little to one side for tips).

My husband and I have visited Disney for 50 years. We were visiting at least twice a year, stayed on site and always got the dining plan. We got off the plane and did not worry about anything at all till we got back on, days later. Now with the new genie+, no dining plan, no magic bus… we don’t want to go at all. That’s so darn sad!

I agree with what you are saying. It is as though Disney removed the magic.

It is such a shame that the plan has still not returned. It made this an all-inclusive package that took the stress away and increased happiness. Disney Corp. has stated multiple times that it will be returning, but we will see in what condition, as the new administration seems to be removing the great and replacing it with mediocre.

I’m sure it will be back. Bob will take away some of it’s features and give it a big price increase.

When we contacted Disney about our upcoming trip in July, one of the workers said and I quote, “we’re not sure when the meal plans are coming back, if they’re coming back at all.” This really would be disappointing if the don’t come back at all since they really are helpful.

We have all noticed things we enjoyed at Walt Disney are disappearing except their price increases. This is not a major thing here.I along with other family members have postponed our vacation there because of the dining plan. I don’t believe at your corporate meetings it last that long when it comes time to jack up the prices on EVERYTHING in the parks.
So let’s knock it off already, put back the dining plan and how about some type of credit for the bus transportation you took away which will add another expense to the vacation.
You have great crowds in the parks and are posting great earnings. This could not happen without ALL OF US.

Totally agree with all the comments! The dining plan along with the magic express are things that Make Disney above the rest. The prices are getting out of control- resort guests should be given a few benefits!!! Otherwise I should stay at my non Disney timeshare resort and save a ton of Money!!!

Disney has removed the Magic little by little. With SO MANY other Destinations to go the parks will SUFFER.There is NO reason to stay on Disney property anymore. What am I getting for my money? ZERO.The new ceo of Disney is a cost cutter and Hates Cast Members, that’s a fact. Now,I believe he hates the Consumer as well.Tell me Disney when is it enough? If Walt or Roy were around he would clean house
