While working crowd control at the bus area of the magic kingdom 1988 WDW a young man jumped the fence and ran across the railroad tracks to the backstage area.
I caught him and escorted him back so he could go though the turnstile.
Stand in line, wait you’re turn.

        “You’re” an a$$

      2. Michael

Don’t mind the troll, Peter. You are right.

      3. Michael Park

        Get over yourself.

Disney are the thieves. I live in Orlando and I will never step foot in Disney parks ever again.

Not the 1st time it’s happened and not the only park. I have a friend, who works in the front of Epcot, and she’s seen guests try to jump the exit turnstiles a number of times. Sometimes they get away with it, but get caught further inside the park. Yes – passes cost too much, and most are able to pay that price – but sometimes the cost is extremely far out of reach for others, especially teens. I’m not saying it’s the right thing to do, but for some…. I can understand the attempt. If it’s someone who has the money to get in, the law should take over…. maybe the fine could be to buy passes for underpriviledged children.

You are far more forgiving to let someone who just broke into the park back in line. I would have put them on the bench for at least that day…

It’s the new normal, especially in California. You can do a smash and grab and it’s ok. The mindset of folks has changed. Shameful.

    1. Shawn

      Only because they’re “oppressed”

Wouldn’t want to hurt their feelings by asking them not to break the law.

    2. Michael

Breaking the law is not okay, regardless of the excuse being given. Life is hard for many of us. No one is entitled.

      1. Michael Park

Like you have never broken a law.

Many many years ago, My cousin and I once hid in the jungle cruise line after hours and spent the night! We hid there all night long and when the park opened spent the next day enjoying Disneyland again.
Don’t know how we didn’t get caught but twice people came and cleaned the exhibit we were hiding in, under a blanket and they never saw us. One of the longest, scariest nights ever!

Could be true.. In mid to late 80’s there used to be a cut in the chain fence behind space mountain local teens would use to sneak in to WDW.

  4. Bella

My husband grew up a mile away from Disneyland, in Buena Park. He told me about his and his friends’ escapades about how they used to sneak into Disneyland as kids. But that was over 30 years ago.

  5. Joanna Coors

So it looks like there were rotten people 30 years ago, not just now.

  6. The tall one looks like a Karen-In-Training. Surprised she didn’t have her phone out recording and pretending to be the victim.

  7. Peter Pan lives in a car

    Triggered Karen.

  8. Buzz

    Haha that’s awesome! Good effort

In 1984 me and my then girlfriend walked up to the employee entrance and when the security officer was distracted we walked right in and were just about to enter the main park but another security officer stop us when she noticed we weren’t wearing ID’S. BUSTED! She walked us to the front gate and let us pay for our tickets and then let is back in. There’s no way they would let that happen NOW. LOL

  10. SusieQ

Wait.. the woman with the young kids, were they the group that they were rounding up?
    Great roll model Mom.

  11. Michael Park

Only fun times at Disney was dropping acid and tripping balls all day long .

    1. Bob C.

      Sure Jan….

I agree, but just a little confused. Would they allow small children to buy Disneyland tickets without an adult being present. If that is how it happened, then Disneyland was not acting very responsible either. I would hope that the employee allowing this was reprimanded also.

        1. j

Could be part of a larger group. Like those kids went in with their parents and their aunt or cousin came to “join” them.

  12. Kel

Hi! That’s me who posted the video! And while Disney hasn’t commented, several cast members have saying they saw portions of it and that they have seen attempts like this before

  13. Julie

So sad that the children had to go through that experience. Shame on the adult or parent that made them part of that.

  14. Vic

If they want to be inside Disney so bad they should be turned into animatronics, half dead, half alive, forced to perform in that spot watching people pass by…forever!

  15. John Novak

I would not ever go to Disney parks anywhere in this country or any where in the world they have become so sickening with their all inclusion policies and political correctness and woke agenda even if you gave me a free vacation to Disney world or Disney land I would refuse it tear it up in their faces

    1. Gene

Enjoy your local elementary school Carnival Day!
      😂🤦‍♂️

  16. Lisa Miller

The way that people USED to act at Disney Parks is a thing of the PAST! It was happy there because people were KIND. The last 5 times that I have gone, I live in Florida, visitors are skipping in line, yelling and pushing! Cast members are sometimes doing the same, but they are not treated well! It’s the SADDEST PLACE ON EARTH compared to the 1990’s 😢

Back in 1968 when there was still a burning log cabin on Tom Sawyer’s Island, my brother and I snuck into the cabin, grabbed a couple of the dummies laying on the ground in front of the cabin with arrows sticking out of them and pulled them back out of sight, then laid down on the ground, holding the arrows like we were the ones who were shot by the Indians. When guests came by in the canoes, we jumped up waving our arms and started yelling at them. They almost fell out of the canoes!

  18. Mitch

The way the woman in the video keeps flicking her fingers and acting uppity makes it hard to take her seriously.

  19. Bob bomhauer

I wondered if anyone else was sick of that.. They tell the whole history of Disney in every post. Padding at its worst…
