We were at the park on Tuesday feb. 22nd, our group of 10 all discussed after the ride why we had 3D glasses on because the graphics were all blurry. It was definitely better when we visited the park 3 years ago, this trip in 2022 overall park experience we weren’t impressed. Disney is losing their magic.

Same here, we went Sunday Feb 20 an the 3D wasn’t good and much of the screen was blurry.

We were there on the 21st and discussed the same thing, but it didn’t deter us from riding it twice. The graphics were only bad in the cave with Aywa.

It was blurry in December ’21. It was not blurry when were there in March ’21.

OMG you spent your stimulus money!!!! Just wait until you get back home from Disney; Now you’ll gonna absolutely LOVE how screwed up EVERYTHING else is. Hey, you all cry to someone who has been to WDW as many times as my vacation allowed since there was a (golf resort) . Try and enjoy things and quit being the crybabies that you obviously are.

Oh Thanks Pete your comments and input were riveting…

      Not.

Pete, find something else to do with your time.

      Sincerely,

      Everyone

I went at the beginning of Feb. and the ride blew me away, wasn’t blurry as this article alleges, but rather an immersive thrill that I can’t wait to do again. Best ride I have ever been on!

I think the problem is from the spotty 3d glasses. They spray them to sanitize them between guests and half the time they are covered in spots. I just wish they could design the same kind of experience without the 3D glasses.

    1. Fred

They don’t ” spray them ” they go through a sanitation process that includes hot water. The 3D projectors have to be aligned occasionally .

Ok. It wasn’t just me. Rode it last Wednesday (2/23) and thought I had defected glasses.

I was there in Dec. and thought the ride was so incredible I didn’t notice, but now that people are mentioning it, It might have been a little blurry.

Pandora never should’ve been there in the first place 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Even if it didn’t fit into the Disney family before, it does now, and has been one of my favorite worlds since it opened. To each their own.

    2. Mason

I know. It is so out of place because pandora is more of something to belong at Hollywood Studios.

Disney not fixing the ride is another example of how they have let their parks deteriorate lately. They just don’t care anymore.

I was there 3 weeks ago and thought it was blurry. I want sure if it was the glasses or me.

Bob paycheck wants your money and will stop at nothing to squeeze every penny out of your pocket. He doesn’t care if the rides are broke it costs money to fix and the bean counter is to busy swimming in his money bin to even care. Fire bob chapek change.org

100% agree. This may trip was the first time it really felt like a money grab. I quoted a trip for later this year with just my daughters and I, and the cost is over $1000 more than it was for my recent trip for the same number of days, and only a couple hundred less than our Family of 4 for a week in 2020. Same hotel.

More evidence of the “CHEAP-EK EFFECT”. I live not one hour away from D-World and have been a MANY TIME annual passholder…..but as long as this clown is in charge, and as long as Disney keeps the Genie+system I will be a regular at Universal Studio’s instead……

Why go when the experience is VERY MUCH DIMINISHED with broken rides, slow construction EVERYWHERE (5 years and counting to get the Tron ride going while Universal built the Velocicoaster in 1!!) and a convoluted Genie+ system combined with pay per ride attractions that are not even included in regular park admission!

As a premium pass holder in the past it used to feel like we “owned the place” and could come and go as we pleased and lines were a non-issue even in the busiest days with the now-gone fast pass system! (One time we were there on a Saturday in July and got to use 13 fast passes THAT DAY!!)

NOPE! Disney has become an aggressive non-apologetic money grubbing park that somehow “the SHEEPLE” keep going to…..

Every comment and even the story is wrong, as complicated as the system is, yes it can get blurry. Just tell a cm they will check it and if it is, it will be fixed. Lol glasses are sprayed that’s hilarious, things don’t get worked on thats also funny. There is a talent shortage for sure; skilled laborers, writers, journalists, ect. But the world is overwhelmed with keyboard warriers spreading “facts”.

It would be blurry for me either way. I only have one eye and can’t see 3D even with the glasses. It just makes it one image but doesn’t jump out as it should.

    1. Johnny

I wish the whole 3d ride thing would step off a cliff. I much more enjoy rides with no 3d, but clean bright screens.

  13. Johnny

I will admit I have had experience with the blurryness. I understand folks like the 3d effect, but honestly I think I would enjoy it much more glasses and 3d free with a clear crisp picture. It has always been blurry for me over the last 3 years I have been several times, and never quite understood the hype for this one.

We rode the Avatar Flight of Passage ride last month, in February 2022, and my daughter and I both noticed that the 3D was not aligned. I could see green and purple shadows instead of experiencing a combined 3D image. My daughter ended up taking her 3D glasses off because it was so bad with them on.

This was too bad, since this used to be the greatest ride in the world. It’s still fun, but bad 3D is worse than 2D, and that’s how it was for us. I wasn’t sure if the projectors were bad or the glasses were worn, because others in our group didn’t seem to notice a problem.
