What attracts LOTR fans to LOTR movies, and I would dare say Television Series, is sticking to the Lore. Amazon may have the right to interpret things they way they want, but realize that if they turn away from the LOTR Lore, the people they are counting on watching their series will not watch.
I totally agree with you Jim. I’m not touching this nonsense. modern interpretations of time tested and proven lore suck. They try to fix or innovate on content that far surpasses their own talent.
