My wife and I took three of our grandsons to Disneyland last week and weren’t aware that the trams were not running. The walk from the Mickey & Friends parking structure to the main gate is 1.72 miles (or so my Apple Watch tells me) and we were unprepared for the long hike. The second day we went, we took the ART bus which pick us up T our hotel and dropped us off ride outside of security. It was easier, cheaper, and a much shorter walk than parking in the structure. We will definitely ride the ART Bus in the future
Looking at some of the people who visit the parks these days, some walking to the the parks would do them some good. Concidering how we like to stuff our faces with snacks and ice cream
I visited Disneyland and California Adventure yesterday. After many months of walking from Mickey and Friends or Pixar and Pals Parking Structures it was noce to have the trams back. Especially true at the end of a very long day.
I half jokingly said the other day that I wouldn’t be shocked if it gets added as a lightning lane option at the end of the night. $10/pp to ride and save you feet from walking that long distance back to the parking garage.
I think Diz owes its Guests both an explanation- and Apology- for the suspension of tram service, on both coasts, for so long. I’m not going to hold my breath.
Great. Just wait, they will start charging for those tram rides just like they are charging for the new version of Fast Passes under a new name. Yeah, people will just buy into the propaganda and think it’s just so much better. I don’t mind having to get a park reservation but all this other garbage is ridiculous. I’m not going back for quite a while. I’ll go other places for fun.
