The company or the parks in particular have been going to S*** for years so this is only fitting. I also guess with all the B.S. they are trying to sale with the way over priced Starcruiser hotel, things just got a bit too full.
The old Pleasure Island used a sewage lift system to pump waste water off the island and into the sewer system. If I remember correctly the lift was/is located near Morimoto (the old Motion nightclub). Some hot evenings back in the PI days you could smell the pump backstage.
Several years ago we stayed at OKW. We had sewage come in up through the shower. The sewage came into the bedroom. Over 3 inches of this all due to a tree branch that broke the outside pipe. Disney wasn’t going to move us. Said had to other rooms. They HAD to move us it is considered hazardous and toxic. Move us to a room that wasn’t clean with no sheets. Guests had just left the room.
Disney have lost that loving feeling, their Customer Service is shot. To think they wanted you to stay in a room full of Sewage is bonkers. Then placing you in another room that was not made up is not acceptable, and quite frankly disgraceful.
Come on, this kind of $ht has been happening for years. Yea, it stinks butt it has nothing to due with super woke. Most folks do the do do right when they wake up so they’re already woke up. The CM’s at Disney have to deal with a lot of crap, but don’t reprimand them for refusing to clean up the mess, it’s not a dereliction of doodie. It was reported that right before the sewage appeared a woman dressed as a fairy was seen leaving the restroom, her friends called her Stinkerbell. Her boyfriend told her that’s what she gets for being a vegetarian and said he can’t hang out with a salad shooter. She told him that diarrhea is hereditary, it runs in your jeans. They were on their way to watch the a Star Wars trilogy movie, the turd one, at AMC DINE-IN Disney Springs 24. That’s the great thing about poop jokes, they make your cheeks hurt. One last one for the woke crowd, Politicians are like diapers. They need to be changed often, and for the same reasons.
We ate there Saturday the 26th at Paddlefish and we were there from around 6:30 until the area closed at 11:30. Cris-crossed that area several times and I all the restaurants were open and the place was packed. We were seated in the back dining room on the first floor and both my wife and I ordered drinks at the bar. Didn’t notice any issues anywhere and the area was very busy. That one little picture doesn’t show anything?
These types of emergencies are tough to deal with. Break downs happen even at the Most Magical vacation place on earth. As long as people are able to get out safely and get some type of food credit or give them another dining option for the evening I dont know what else can be done about it. Breakdowns occur everywhere regardless of management maintenance etc. I get tired of articles focusing on negative incidents. Try to report without accusing Disney of poor work ethics

That is why I never keep stuff on the floor.

Was this a lack of maintenance, due to cut backs? or was it an act of god so to speak?

Ever since Disney parks went super woke, they have not been the same.
