But what I love is nobody has money haha. Everyone is crying how the prices of things have gone up but yet Disney is not hurting in one bit people will go no matter what it cost.

They’re like the abused in an abusive relationship. No matter how bad they’re treated, they still stick around.

Yeah, I am so guilty of this, but I will admit to it. We’ll see how much fun my trip is going to be next week. I may have to start getting smart and contemplate this relationship.

Not surprising-Daytona 500 is also during that timeframe and it’s always packed regardless-Daytona is an hour away from WDW.

I knew this was a bad week to go. Oh well. I made that decision so that’s on me. We’ll see how many rides I actually get on.

Great… So, Disney has oversold the parks based on current staffing. And, the big rides are going down on a pretty regular basis. Park goers should be prepared to only ride a few rides during their visit. The Thunder Turd system (lightning lane properly renamed) works well at taking a giant dump on the rest of the park goers every time a ride does go down. At least the current Bob will be happy for the news.

Honestly I think they lowered the cap down because everything was wide open a few days ago when I changed my reservations around. They might have done this due to dropping the masking indoors (at least that’s what I hope it is).

I would NEVER visit Disney if I couldn’t get into the parks. I am a DVC member, never saw this go on. The reservation system seems to be a way of getting our money up front. It’s definitely not due to covid safety, hence the crowds. This CEO is out of touch with reality . FOR ALL OF YOU COMPLAINING, STOP GIVING HIM YOUR MONEY. Otherwise, enjoy.

January 24 in Magic Kingdom was way to crowded even if there was no pandemic. It was absolutely insane and in my opinion an unsafe number for any fire/evacuation regulations. I would like to see park officials relook at the data for park entry and make adjustments going forward.

In the words of Yogi Berra…”That place is so busy no one goes there anymore”

Aren’t the parks supposed to be back up to full capacity now? If so, why are they still using this awful reservation system? With that said, I wonder if it is a coincidence that masks just went away and suddenly the parks are full. Hmmm…

It keeps people from booking a vacation and then not getting into the park. I can remember how angry people used to get at getting to disney and then by the time they get to the park, its at capacity. Now disney can tell you before you even get there if you can get in or not.
