Disney needs to spend money on ride maintenance. Everyday, you see these types of stories. This particular ride breaks down frequently causing disappointment to those already standing in line for 2 hours. When the ride restarts, they take all the lightning lane consumers ahead of the peasants. Maintain the rides for safety and keep all consumers happy (those of us in “stand by” paid to be there too).
My family were here with a 2 1/2 yr old, who wanted so bad to go on the Norway; Frozen ride, they purchased the Genie Plus, and paid the 15.00 each!! Then the ride breaks down for over 45minutes!! They were stuck!! finally evacuated , and given A ticket, that they could come back and not have to wait in line….Well when they went back, they were told they cannot ride!! WOW, talk about adding more frustration, a Manager had to be called in; and then finally they were allowed to ride. but you know, the thrill was gone, to be treated like that by a Cast Member, who were trained to be compassionate!! What happened, why is there so much frustration!! and all the Price increases!! plus this Genie thing, you have to pay to ride! or wait 2hours. the (Fast Pass) system, was working so well!! 2 weeks earlier, a Good friends waited over 2hrs. and after calling in at 7am, Virtual Q . to ride Rattouille..she never got on it. that ride too was out of order, and they were all told, it would not be running at all that day and night!! She said she is so disgusted!! its not about fun anymore!! it’s just all so frustrating!!! and not worth it!! (it changed so much) and not for the Better!! You have to do all this work before you even enter the Parks!!! just to have some fun.
My husband and I waited 3 hours for ROR. 3/4 of the way through, it broke down. We waited 45 minutes to be rescued. We did receive LL passes to return when it was fixed. Such a great ride!
Waited almost 3 hours on ROR then it broke down while we were on it. Skyliner broke down. Peter pan broke down after 2 hours we had to get out of line to pee. People move broke down while we were in line. Spaceship earth broke down twice while we were on it. Safari broke down waited 2 hours in line we did wait and get on. Early admission to epcot was denied one morning have no idea why. Disney needs to get the magic back.
