The only ride down during my WDW trip in November of 2021 was Slinky Dog Dash, but luckily it came back up by the time of my ride reservation. Test Yrack might have been down while I was on other rides. Watching ride apps does seem to indicate more breakdowns, which shouldn’t be, what with exorbitant costs and large crowds. One expects quality at current prices.

We were at Disney World this weekend and Frozen was down the majority of the day. So frustrating for many families who primarily visit Epcot for the Frozen attraction. Disney has gotten so nickel and dimey that it is a huge turnoff. Even more frustrating is their lack of respect towards the patrons with regard to making genie+ reservations. There were so many technical glitches over the last few weeks leading me to spend 4hrs (3 separate phone calls) to fix prior to the trip, and then 2 visits to a guest services tent once at the park. We spent $3200 for three days of park tickets and genie passes- insane. I don’t think this is what Walt had in mind AT ALL. Disney, you can do better, because you used to do better.

All employees were amazing though! No complaints as they are severely understaffed but we didn’t feel that impact.

It’s just not lack of maintenance it’s overall cleanliness of the parks. The bathrooms are filthy the masks laying on the ground all over the park and the food. It not not clean like it use to be. Not enough help plus the wages the cast members make is sad for what they have to put up with.

We were just at WDW in October to kick off the 50th. Aside from attractions frequently being offline – there was the situation of missing and broken elements that would not be noticed by folks that didn’t know attractions intimately. Audio elements were missing here and there, lighting was not working correctly and in some instances entire portions of an attraction were gone – like hopping Brer Rabbit in Splash. You can throw a coat of paint on something and add 50th banners, but if the basics aren’t dealt with it just feels like a very cheapened experience

UNBELIEVABLE THE CEO’S GET A BONUS LIKE THAT! FOR WHAT? Walt would be FIRING all those GREEDY SELF-SERVING PIGS! There should be NO bonuses, they make too much already! Pay the workers more! Filthy Animals.

Yes we have also seen the lack of maintenance in Disney World on several rides. We thought it just happens.

What has been extremely disturbing to us is how many garbage can are overflowing thru out the parks. And all the litter in the parking lot. It is horrible seeing all this trash. And the restrooms are not well kept either.

And yet when it’s time to renew our annual pass the price has increased over $900 for 2 Florida residents. We are outraged.

November 2021, 1st visit in 8 and a half years. Indiana Jones is in really bad shape, The boulder scene cavern wall movement was stationary, Indy had no dialog, Got to ride multiple times because the ride keep failing. It was tough to see how bad a shape the ride is in. Needs to be restored to it’s former glory.

Other rides were in really great shape. We have to remember Disneyland has refurbishment schedules annually where WDW hardly fixes their rides at all. DLR ride are still in far better shape than the Florida counter part.

I agree that there are more problems than ever with rides. Recently at wdw, rise of resistance and runaway railroad were sporadically down throughout the two days we were at Hollywood Studios. What’s also frustrating is the “solution” provided to us. After waiting nearly 50 minutes for Runaway Railroad, we just started on the ride when it completely broke down. It took about 30 minutes of just sitting there until we are evacuated by cast members. Then to make up for it, they added one free pass on any Genie Plus attraction that could be used that day or the next, but then expires. We’ll, since it was 5 minutes before park closing, it was really only good for the next day and we didn’t have a park reservation for the next day. Since they are so inflexible now by requiring reservations, they should rethink the mitigation provided to guests for wasting so much time for a broken ride.

It’s because they don’t have cast members to do ride maintenance and our severely understaffed . I should know as I have family that wrks there
