Sure…69,914 people tested positive for CoVid in Florida on Jan 8, but hey…let’s have a sold out event anyway. To hell with Corporate Social Responsibility.

Do you know what a positive test means?
      Cold? Flu? CoVid? Delta? Omicron?

Come run a marathon, get the gift of labored breathing when you get home! All runners awarded a finishers medal AND Covid.

I cannot believe the stupidity and selfishness of those participating, but also if the company for forging ahead with the event. Makes me very scared for my cast member friends, I would be terrified to go to work on a daily basis with all this going on.

Since you are on the worry train, here’s some more anxiety to put in your OMG caboose. Russian troops massing at the border with Ukraine poised for invasion that NATO is not in a position to stop, Chinese warplanes overflying Taiwan and Biden proclaiming unequivocally that “America would leap into action if China attacked Taiwan”. The U.S. Border Patrol reporting more than 1.6 million encounters with illegal “migrants” along the U.S.-Mexico border in the 2021 fiscal year, more than quadruple the number of the prior fiscal year and the highest annual total on record. Food prices up 6.1% over the same time in 2021, gasoline prices averaging $1.00 more a gallon 2020 to 2021, and Starbucks reports shortages of caramel and toffee nut. Now you should be really terrified?

Get over it people. These runners are outside, in fresh air, getting exercise, expanding their lungs, getting sun. All good things to stay healthy. Sure better than staying home, cooped up inside.
You are part if the reason we still still have this Plandemic. You Stay home and wait this out.
….there has not been any “outbreak” associated with these large gathering, outdoor events (football games, political rallys, parades, etc). Plus, many of the participants have probably been “vaxxed”, so whats the problem? It’s all good, My Body, My Choice. Your Body, Your Choice. I get out and live life, you stay home and hide.

I ran the marathon! Aside from being in the corral you’re actually pretty distant from people, not to mention outside. And for those who were more cautious there was tons of space even in the corral to find your space.

I’m vaccinated, healthy and able-bodied. I had no concern about COVID at this event. My logic? If you can run a bloody marathon, you probably don’t have COVID…or the flu or a cold for that matter. And if you do, that’s why I have the vaccine. Let’s keep life moving people.
