Keep the pressure up on Disney and FORCE them to do better

Laughable that they say Disney is limiting capacity as crowd levels are extreme.

Disney are no way limiting capacity…

I love Disney but not what the Disney Board have done to Disney’s reputation.

I have to say I am moving over to Universal to stay on my two week holiday, Disney may just get a 2 or 3 days of my money, previously I always stayed on Disney property at the Port Orleans Riverside where Disney got 14 days worth of my cash, but you simply do not get value for money anymore nearly all the perks for staying on property have gone, so why bother. I can get a better and less expensive experience with Universal hotels, and quite frankly you now get far better quality and better experience with Universal than you do at Disney these days.

It would seem I am not the only one who thinks this. I’m pleased for Universal they deserve it, they really do. Disney Board needs to wake up and take their collective heads out of their arse’s because sadly the writing is on the wall. Personally I think Disney needs a new board, one that puts it customers first and gives them better value for money, without ripping us off and people will return thus so will profits. This penny pinching ripping us off has killed the magic.

I went to Universal after Christmas and had a blast! I loved the roller-coasters and attractions, some of them as intence as a roller-coaster. And I loved the refillable softdrinks and Icees – a lesson Disney should learn.
Two things Disney does better – 1. Provides more for the 10 and under and the 50 and over. I’m 61 and love roller-coasters and so did my husband until he injured his neck. Now there is very little he can do at Universal – he sat with our bags in both parks, he said he was fine with it but it was over an hour on most everything. He did a lot of just sitting.
And 2. The food service and quality, so much better all around at Disney.
I look forward to going back to Universal when hubby is already busy and can’t go. Until then we’ll enjoy Disney together.

Hah! Universal’s secret for success is to do the opposite of what Disney is doing. So many blogs about how Disney is in a downward spiral. Thanks Bob Paycheck. Universal on the other hand, seem to be giving their guests exactly what they want. As a DVC member, I will be using my points to stay at a Disney resort, but heading to Universal’s parks for the fun and activities.
