Enjoying the parks this week and find that the train is closed. Quite the bummer for my kids as they are of course Harry Potter fans. No reason provided from staff.
The entire reason I bought a 2 park pass was for my HP mega fan to ride the Hogwarts Express. Disappointed to say the least with absolutely NO explanation from staff about why or when it will be back.
Just back from our trip after spending the extra money for the park hopper SOLELY for the train. We had a fabulous time, but just a few mire $$ down the drain.
About to head to the park, bringing my kids for their first visit and brought park-to-park just so we could ride Hogwarts Express…feeling a bit shortchanged and we haven’t even left home yet! 🙁
Was there the day it went down mysteriously on Jan 16. Had bought park-to-park tickets just so my wife and I could ride the train. My wife is a super HP fan and we were celebrating her actual birthday. We did get a chance to ride the train from the Hogsmeade Station to King’s Cross Station. Unfortunately when we wanted to do the return trip we were initially told it there was a delay with the train. We waited for about 2hrs and then were told it was closed for the remainder of the day.
This ride being closed will effect us if it’s not up and running soon. All the Harry Potter stuff is the only reason we are coming to Universal. Hopefully it will be running by the time we get there.
Very frustrating and disappointing. Just got back Thursday and it was closed the whole time. My big HP fan was super sad. And no explanation given- personally the staff were almost rude.
