There is something wrong with your story folks. RATATOUILLE DOESN’T HAVE A STANDBY LANE. I was there at the park when it was running in early Dec. THERE IS NO STANDBY LANE. You must have the Mydisneyexperience app running on your phone to get a spot time saved at like 7am (which is 3 hrs before the park opens). The spots fill up that morning for time spots ALL DAY. I didn’t have that luxury to have that access. The castmember at the gate told me I’d have to talk to another castmember at the front of the building to get help. But the line to get help was 5x longer than the line getting in at the gate. So, I was out of luck to ride Ratatouille. Get your facts correct.

This article isn’t about Ratatouille, nor did it ever say that ride had a standby lane. Maybe next time, 1) read the whole article, and 2) don’t get so uptight about such insignificant things. You’ll give yourself a stroke.

While Ratatouille did not have a standby line when you visited in December, they have since endedal virtual queues at WDW and therefore Ratatouille now has a standby queue. Things can change very quickly in Disney parks.

Lol. Mad you didn’t get to ride?

    4. Sara

Wow, so mad about this they’ve commented below the wrong article. Bravo Penny.

      How embarrassing…

Standby started this week. There is no virtual que anymore.

Ratatouille does have a standby lane, I was there 3 days ago

Ratatouille standby lane and individuals Lightning Lane does now exist, as of this month of January, 2022. In December, it was still virtual queue. Maybe check current updates before critiquing others about fact checking?

Can you write any article on Splash Mountain WITHOUT mentioning the upcoming retheme? At least not in articles like this one WHERE THE THEMING OF THE RIDE IS IRRELEVANT?

And without free advertising for Disney about Genie+?

Did the Waltons secretly buy out Disney? I ask because Disney World is starting to look like Walmart.

    1. John DeJones

If Walmart buyout Di$ney the prices on everything would be lower! 😂😂

        LOL

My daughter and I were evacuated from Splash Mountain on New Years Eve. We were stuck at one of the highest points for close to an hour.

What luxury? All it takes is a cellphone. Sounds like you need to plan your trip better.

ok i have one question, WHY did someone bring an umbrella for the rain onto a WATER ride? They afraid to get wet from the rain and yet they get onto a ride that GUARANTEES to soak people unless they are wearing a poncho, so why didn’t they do that? (ok so thats two questions lol)

I tried opening an umbrella on jungle cruise because they stopped us outside in the rain and I was sitting under the opening while they unloaded a wheelchair from the boat ahead of us. They said that wasn’t allowed so I just sat there and got rained on..

So many grammatical errors in this article. Also, get to the point quicker. Nothing wrong with a short and sweet article. It’s annoying having to read long-winded irrelevant back stories just to lead into a nonsequitur point.

I have a comment people may not like, but I think everyone should just leave Disney alone because nothing in life is perfect especially rides at theme parks. They break down or gust do things they shouldn’t to get the ride stop. So my suggestion is, build a bridge and get over it. 😂
