    No. Absolutely ridiculous….

Why not just put all the characters into the same unisex uniforms and call them all comrade?

      1. Deena

Ridiculous! What’s wrong with Minnie wearing a dress? These characters represent a make believe world for kids. Leave them alone!

  2. Ridiculous

Just flat out ridiculous. Why can’t they just leave things alone.

This hideously designed suit is not cute, not iconic, not even fasionable. I’m sure little girls are lining up to cosplay as this…..not. I’m sure Disney is abandoning this absurd notion by the end of the month.

This isn’t a permanent change, it’s just for a month. It’s no big deal. Why do reactionary people have to bend and distort the truth in order to manufacture fake outrage?

I think it’s great! Minnie loves fashion and she looks good in any of her outfits/dresses. It is good to mix it up once and a while. Go Minnie, you look amazing! I can’t wait to see the shirt or if there will be matching ears.

That color palette they chose is hideous! Next to her black fur, it is too dark for her it blends right in not, stand out. Minnie Mouse has always rocked the bright colors, because she herself is a colorful character. This pantsuit that they chose for her does not fit her personality. The colors need to be brighter, and the overall design needs to be fashionable, like Minnie. The black dalmatian spots on the navy blue pantsuit is the wrost design I have ever seen her in. The polka-dots are more hidden than they should be. It feels like that they are ashamed of her being in a pantsuit. Give her another bright polka-dot pantsuit and let this one burn in a trash bin. The outfits NEED to reflect who Minnie Mouse is. She doesn’t hide herself, and she is confident of who she is.

I know it’s just for a month, but this is Paris. Couldn’t they have created something a little more chic for our favorite female mouse — perhaps something with a little couture flavor? This little outfit looks more like tailored pajamas and it’s too dark for her coloring. Fail.

    2. Liz

Probably because a lot of people read this or heard about it from other sources where they neglected to mention that it was only a temporary outfit. They thought it was going to be permanent. My news station didn’t mention that fact, either. It’s too bad they didn’t pick a brighter color for her pantsuit, tho. It’s cute otherwise.

      1. Angie

She looks like she is wearing pajamas…ridiculous. Sorry Disney, but I don’t feel inspired by this outfit – please stay out of politics and stick with creating Disney Magic.

    3. Patti

      It looks like pajamas lol

      1. Why me?

This wokeism is doing nothing but taking away womens femininity and masculinizing them while at the same time feminizing men.
No man bun for me thank you.
Looks like Minnie is getting her fashion sense from Hillary.
        That will end well.

      2. Kp

Exactly what I was going to say. Awful!

Changing Ladies and gentlemen and boys and girls to EVERYONE is not temporary!! #FDisney

    1. Tiffany

I agree! New movement! #FDisney! This is bull! I’m a mother of two. One boy and one girl. Both are very much their genders. This new Minnie is not Minnie! It’s a new Mickey! One that scares the holey hell out of me! Good bye Minnie! I’ll miss you dearly! May you rest in peace!

      1. Kay

I hate it, even if it is temporary! It isn’t Minnie and I will not purchase anything with the pantsuit even if it is Stella McCartney!

    2. Rick

Oh just wait for what’s next folks….Mickey in a dress LOL… Ahh the world we live in now

  5. Liz

Glad it’s only for a month—no biggie. Unfortunately, it’s being reported without telling people it’s temporary, to cause this outrage. I’m fine with an occasional change for her as long as she retains her original outfit overall. Only thing is, couldn’t they have put her in a CUTE, bright pantsuit? The black on blue is too drab and dark for her. Maybe pink with yellow polka dots—or even Minnie Mouse dots. Anything cheerier than this.

  6. Kay

Agreed!A bright pink polka dot pantsuit would have been fine!!

    1. Nancy Em

I fully agree!!! That was my first thought!! Why is she wearing PJs??!! I guess it’s to keep in life be with all the other terrible, ridiculous decisions Disney has been making at a faster and faster pace!! Every single person I know has sworn off going to any Disney park ever again!!! It was truly my one and only vacation destination, but not any more!! See ya Disney. It was nice while it lasted. After my two week nightmare trip in Feb/Mar 2017, I’m not going back. Disney is sealing that coffin with more nails continuously!!!

  7. Dw

It looks like PJ’s & it’s very ugly

  8. Elsa

Who comes up with this garbage? Why does a woman need a pantsuit for national woman’s day? Women started wearing pant suits to act more like men back in the day. If it’s a month to celebrate women, then don’t change Minnie’s dress to make her look more masculine. Kinda defeats the purpose but whatever if it’s temporary just pick a different color scheme. Fashion guru minnie would have a smaller dotted pant suit with brighter colors.

Also the changing of the park announcement is ridiculous. Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls is inclusive of everyone unless your a psycho who identifies as a cat.

  9. Kalee Shelton

I would assume then that Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Elsa and Anna should also no longer wear dresses. Additionally Disney should no longer be selling dresses in the gift shop since that just places gender based stereotypes on our daughters.

Four words: Ralph Breaks the Internet. Two more words: comfy squad.

I’m kinda bias towards this new design. On one hand I like the new design I think that it’s great that Disney change’s Minnie’s look for a new generation Minnie has always been a fashion icon for disney in a lot of ways. But, this just doesn’t feel right. It feels like Disney has just taken away something that makes this character so iconic. I know because I grew up watching these characters when I was little and I loved them and I still love them. But, I just wanna say this you can change Minnie’s look but, it won’t change her og look or her personality.

I think it’s cool to see her in something other than her dress, but that colour’s got to go. Why couldn’t the do like a fuchsia or like a like pink or even a lavender? Anyways, it’s only for a month so can’t wait to see people get butthurt over this.

  15. Maggie S.

If I’m being honest, I don’t care for the new suit all that much. I get that it’s just temporary, but it just doesn’t fit Minnie. Minnie Mouse has always been a “traditionally feminine” sort of character & I don’t understand why that’s so “awful”? Why not just give Minnie a re-designed dress that accentuates her femininity rather than try to hide it? This IS a temporary re-design SPECIFICALLY for “Women’s Month” or something, right? Call me a sexist or “old-fashioned”, but “pantsuit” doesn’t exactly scream “feminine”. Like, at ALL. Lol. Also, why ditch Minnie’s signature red for a dark, what? Blue? Indigo? It just looks ugly. Sorry!

I’m finding this a little too reminiscent of that time they the put the Disney Princesses in stuff not unlike you’d find at Hot Topic. Worse, they continued to market them that way long after the movie.

  17. Jennifer Peplinski

Horrible looking Pant suit. Could be nicer.

Grow up Adults!! Geez. It’s only for a month. Just bc we grew up with Minnie does not mean we “KNOW” her. Have you not evolved at all since you were born? Minnie should be allowed to change an outfit here and there. I don’t know anyone who has worn the same outfit their whole life. Also as grown adults how good of an example are you making for your children labeling and boxing a fictional character in?!?! Stomping your feet, shaking your heads and saying F-Disney? It’s like wow. You all are the same Adult Children throwing fits because the white fictional character is now being played by a person who is well not white. Disney, even though Walt was a bit racist has been all about inclusion. Well all about not being above taking everyone’s money. Which mean everyone has a right to feel represented. I know a lot of girls never liked dresses as young girls despite growing up to love them. So let the little non wearing dress girls feel represented for the month. Then Minnie will go back to her red or pink polkadot dresses and you can unclinch.

Completely hideous. Minnie has a signature dress for a reason. For a women’s rights month to make her gender neutral is a slap in the face to every woman. Disney has done nothing but now down to politics & cancel culture. I now have a 5 month old baby girl that I used to look forward to taking her to Disney. I have no desire to bring her to the parks anymore. Disney used to have values & principles for kids & families. Now they just go along with what the “new” society wants & the social media bullies that don’t matter.

  20. Ron

I dont think this is fair! When does MICKEY MOUSE get his dress disney? It’s crazy that you would mess with an Iconic look to get some bad publicity. Your better than that you are Disney.

    1. Simon

I know Minnie personally, she likes to wear polka dot dresses and hates woke agenda

  21. Asher Frost

The amount of people all up in their feelings over the wardrobe of a cartoon mouse is hilarious!

On one hand we have Mrs Piggy, who has outfits made by all the great fashion designers (including more than one pantsuit) and on the other we have Minnie, who hasn’t changed up her look in 30+ years.
So 1 park will dress 1 character differently for 1 month, so clearly the end is nigh for all of Disney, right? I hope your children are more mature and better able to handle change than their reactionary parents.

  22. Lee

Looks like Minnie is getting fashion advice from Hillary Clinton.

  23. Aaron Cobb

I don’t care if you get her a whole new closet full of outfits. Good for her. But this outfit looks horrible. Who ever made it is obviously colorblind.
