I’m sorry for those who haven’t or won’t enjoy the awesomeness that is the Hawkeye series… don’t get me wrong, WandaVision and Loki were amazing in their own ways… and Falcon and the Winter Soldier was …. a pass.. but Hawkeye was something special… besides showing what a human with skill can do… and being a fantastic holiday themed series made our holiday season.. our? yes, my wife loved this show as well. While I was away at work, she would have the show on, and will admit watched each episode at least five times. So much comedy, heart, action, and holiday hijinks, this show hits the bullseye of our hearts.
She watched each episode fine times?? Holy cow. What a monumental waste of time. I’ve only watched the first three episodes and I already don’t care whether he gets home for Christmas. I didn’t think Marvel could underperform their Falcon-WS snooze fest, but they sure have with Hawkeye.
Wasn’t the series been completed 3 week’s ago? Second place 3 week’s after it’s done seems pretty good. I would think every series would plummet down the charts after everyone was done watching it, unless I’m missing something?
I really Enjoyed the Freshness of Hawkeye. When Elena showed up, I cheered & im a Grandmother of 8 🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉 Hailey & Elenas characters bounced off of each other Beautifully. I Love how they tied in Hawkeyes wife (Agent 19/Mockingbird) into the mix. I had to look up her watches significance and that’s when I found out Who she was in the MCU. Great story play. I really hope they give Hawkeye another chance & season. I’d Love to see where Elena & Kate go since now Elena & Hawkeye are ok.
Honestly speaking I think Hawkeye the TV show is dull. By the second episode I couldn’t take it any more, Disney is producing very soft, fame shows now so as not to upset anyone, including the Book of Boba Fett where a ‘crime lord’ is more prone to apologise than kill. The new generation of Disney is too soft, like Hawkeye.
Wandavision is leading into a film, the next captain America will continue Sam’s story, what if? Is confirmed for a second season and spiderman is one of the most viewed movies of the last 2 years. I think they’re doing fine
We’re comparing minute counts between a show with one season and 6 40 minute episodes and a show in its third season with 8 episodes with about an hour each. Of course that’s going to be a landslide.
As for renewals, most of these shows are standalones that pretty much just shows what happens in between movies. So most of them won’t get renewals but rather spinoffs (Echo, Agatha Harkness).
I think they were all good. Of course, certain ones were better. But at the end, the only problem that I have is that…. all the series are too short. And that could also be the reason that some people don’t want to watch them. I know I want to be glued to my sit, but then, all of the sudden, I’m like…. “that’s it!” Instead of… “I can’t wait for the next one”. Netflix did a great job with Dare Devil and Punisher. The episodes were length wise good, had plenty of show to tell, and didn’t end right away with just 6 episodes. I think that’s what they need to work on and fix. Give the fans more and not just a few episodes that you can put together and basically call it a trailer.
