Yeah, this symbol has been co-opted by militia members and some folks who are all about suppressing others’ human rights; it has not been co-opted by BLM, but, rather, a bunch of folks who oppose BLM.
BLM don’t give a rip about the cause they’re purportedly fighting for, and people opposing them aren’t against the cause BLM are purportedly fighting for.

He said that when the dust dies down, and the symbol is no longer linked to police violence and hate groups, Marvel might bring the logo back. The “bajillion dollars” thing is presented as a nice, but completely beside the point, bonus when they do. That’s not remotely the same thing as a planned, calculated ploy to make money.
