OMG OMGOMGOMGOMGO MGAHHHHHHH I’m more excited about the Kenobi series more than anything! Although the article says it best, I can help but reiterate the fact that it’s like the missing piece of the puzzle that ties the entire Star Wars universe all together and connects us back to Star Wars Episode IV A new Hope like a 40-year long time machine expedition!
The prequels were almost completely forgettable in parts and utter garbage otherwise. Calling a series whose purpose is to connect these better to the original trilogy.. supposedly the greatest thing in Star Wars basically ever.. is thoroughly destroying the good name and enjoyable direction they had been taking the stories with Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett. It’s like saying the racist abomination Jar Jar Binks was the most interesting and well-written character in the whole story. Hard pass.
Excited? No. Worried? Yes. It hinges on which Disney wins, the well-written, respectful to the mythology version or the infantile, vindictive, message-above-story fan-hating version?
