The AP discounts currently being offered are NOT “massive” by past standards! Prior to the announcement of the maximum room discount of 25%, it was common practice for Disney to offer a discount of up to 25% to the GENERAL PUBLIC, with Annual Passholders often getting as much as a 35% discount, but ALWAYS at least 30%. Not surprisingly, I was on “hold” yesterday, 01/05, for over an hour & STILL couldn’t get the right combination of special prices & room locations at either of my resorts of choice!!! As I’ve suspected in the past, it is my belief that once some individuals start booking, they make SEVERAL RESERVATIONS during the date span of a specific “special” “JUST IN CASE”, & thus locking out those of us that were just a LITTLE later getting online with Disney!
Definitely not everyone will get the $100 off. Only the deluxe. The farther down you go, the less you get. I think I read Pop will be a whopping $20! LMAO! And yet, people will jump at these “discounted” offers to experience a fraction of what the “Disney Experience” should really be.
