Disney can easily fix this cancellation problem by waiving the 90 day cancellation policy for the first 3 months, when they don’t even have a promo to show what the hotel looks like in real life. The 90 day policy can start from mid June onward.
We only had one reason to cancel our reservation (and it wasn’t an easy decision): Corona. Even here in Germany, numbers are abysmal, and the things we heard from the US were anything but confidence-inspiring. So, after much deliberation and the conciliation deadline rushing at us, we decided not to spend nearly €9.000 (including flights and another two nights each before and after our booked stay at the resort) on what should have been a dream trip on my partner’s 40s birthday and canceled. We’re still planning to go, one day, after the US (and the world) has a better grip on this virus and resorts like WDW can operate normally again.

I love Disney
May’s the worst time to go. Should either go in March (to be the first) or June (for enough time to wait for reviews and 90 day cancellation policy.)
