    This article is terrible. Absolutely no explanation as to why flights to Orlando or LAX are impacted by a 5G rollout versus all other flights. I’m lost after reading that.

      The airlines and FAA had 13 months after the planned 5G specifications were published, before the scheduled rollout in November, to develop protocols to determine if navigation would be affected. They only started testing this year.

      If further delays occur, airport improvement funds should be used to pay damages to the telecommunication companies.

    “There’s no way to predict exactly what it will do because we just don’t know.”

    Probably the same thing that happened after I forgot to turn my cell phone to flight mode so as not to interfere with airplane electronics the last time I flew… nothing.

    But maybe they can squeeze some govmint money to “study” the issue…

    Millions later… “Phew! Looks like we’re OK.”
