Why would they? They’re in the $$$ making business. Not the make Lewis happy business. And they’re doing just fine.

      1. They would make a ton of money by bringing Ben back

They went out of their way to NOT say this is a comic book run, which is exactly what it is, a comic book series.
Maybe people will feel a little more relaxed knowing that it won’t be a terrible movie from a pretentious director who doesn’t even like the franchise.
The Solo movie was actually pretty good, if you didn’t go into the movie hating it before you even saw it that is.

It took me almost the entire article to realize they are talking about a comic book, not TV series

It only takes a sentence + a web link to say ‘Han Solo and Chewbacca comic book series coming from Marvel’ (and that would basically be the title of this post!) 😅

    FYI
    Star Wars : Rogue One
    Star Wars : Solo
were both great (but that final trilogy was rubbish!)

Thank goodness for The Mandalorian (and someone please have Kathleen Kennedy step down from Lucasfilms!)

I didnt know there was any hate towards the solo movie, but when i watched it.. Damn.. That sure was horrible!

Allow me to introduce a different perspective here. LucasFilm/Disney (as well as Paramount/CBS and DC/Warner Brothers) have a dillema here.
You can make a movie that appeals to the billions around the world looking for a couple hour’s entertainment or make a movie for the few thousand who only come out of their parent’s basement a couple hours a year dressed as their favorite character, one nobody else even noticed in their three minutes on screen.
Not all the Star Wars movies were works of art ala Kirosawa (of which some elements Lucas lifted) or Hitchcock, but they are fun diversions. Yes, I even liked Solo, and was not fond of Jar Jar Binks (but the Schwartz was with him). Episodes IV-VI were the strongest. Episodes I-III were the weakest. VII-IX were somewhere in between.
Just relax and enjoy them for what they are. And if you can’t, make your own #$_&-@ movie.
