    A man is male XY.
    A woman is female XX.

That’s all folks. If your feelings are hurt blame your biology teacher.

    1. Ken

      Yeah..no.

Try learning beyond 6th grade biology

      1. Marsha

Yeah..yes. Try educating yourself a bit more. One cannot change DNA.

        1. Ken

Is a monosomies individual (X) male or female?

    2. Marsha

      Agreed

  2. Joeybats

Ken, if you’re a Doctor remind me NOT to go to you for surgery.

    1. Ken

Not a doctor, just a teacher who understands the difference between gender and biological sex AND that XX and XY are not the only possibility.

And your doctor would say the same

      1. jose

really? please let us know what a non-binary genetic code is. Also, when the person changes from non-binary to something else, does the genetoc code change? please advise. thank you-

        1. Ken

Go check the Scientific America article:
Sex Redefined: The Idea of 2 Sexes Is Overly Simplistic

We are more than just XX and XY. I happen to be one of them.

          1. Ann Taylor

This is hilariously sad.because scientific America prints an article it’s truth? Laws of life, polarity and gender. Sorry.

          2. Ken

Not at all. There are plenty of peer reviewed journals and established genetics showing there are more than just XY and XX.

            gender is a social creation.

“Laws of life” – buzzword. Be specific.

polarity? you think there are only 2 possible sexes anywhere?

          3. Mar marshabuchanan@yahoo.comMarsha

Redefine to suit people so they don’t get but hurt!!

        2. Bob

You non bianary turds are still male female. A word does not change that.

          1. ken

            cool.

Is an intersex person male or female?

          2. Joe Hamilton

HAHAHA look at me look at me HAHAHA male and female thats it and you are not special

          3. Ken

So you are showing that you don’t understand biology. Gotcha.

          4. R

            They would be a hermaphrodite.

          5. Ken

intersex is the proper term. Now, would they be male or female?

          6. Jenn

Since I doubt this is really played on broomstick with a dnitch that can seemingly outwit humans I’d day it doesn’t matter. They’re not really playing quidditch🙄

      2. Rae

Are two men who have sexual intercourse able to reproduce? No. Men do not have a uterus or ovaries. Please do not use the tired argument of inter sex individuals. That is an anomaly. Sex is real, now gender identity is something different altogether.

        1. Ken

so any woman who is born without a uterus or the ability to have children, not a woman?

and intersex is not a tired argument. it is a fact

      3. Kelly Connerton

Really? So…… If I were to get a sample of DNA from a guy who decided he identifies as female , the DNA would indicate female? I dont have to be a doctor or a scientist to know that is not correct.

        1. Ken

depends. it might not be XX or XY.

Maybe you do need to talk to scientists

    2. Sirrusly

Just wow… I didn’t know wizards could the same level of stupidity as muggles…

      Get over yourselves 😆

  3. jose

the leagues will need fans for the surveys to be completed, right? does the alphabet community even know about these cosplay larp sports? lol.

  4. I love Disney

    How about broomball?

  5. Andrew

Good lord these ppl need to get a grip on reality. God forbid someone stands up for legitimate feminism. And doesn’t put up with the BS the LGBTQRSTUV is trying to shove down our throats. I will gladly continue to support her. Just to spite all you morons

    1. Jandi

It’s absolutely idiotic. I don’t feel one way or another toward JK Rowling myself but this is getting ridiculous. You can’t have a Harry Potter derivative sport and disassociate it from the person who created Harry Potter and thusly the sport itself. No matter what, Harry Potter is JK Rowling’s and so is anything that falls canon under the Harry Potter themed tree, especially Quidditch. You don’t like the person who created it but you still want to use their idea… So you essentially steal it and just call it something else? Incredibly disappointing. Get over yourselves. It wouldn’t be right if it were anyone else, so it’s still wrong to do with her.

  6. Thony

I am disappointed that the cast and crew of the Harry Potter distanced themselves from the storywriter just because she stood on what she believes? Her comments doesn’t even attack anyone, and you all got the nerve to distance from her just because she spoke what she believes is the truth? Shame on all of you!

What will your distancing from JK Rowling ever do? Divide your fans, and that is the worst you could ever do for that wonderful world you all work hard to create.

    1. Well said! My gosh what has happened to us?

    2. Kim Reynolds

100 percent agree. It’s all this fake woke-ism that’s demeaning to real social justice issues. Makes me sick. AND, JK Rowling has been advocating for marginalized communities her entire career.

      1. Ken

        Trans-women are women.

        1. After they die and nothing but bones are left, what will DNA and skeletal structure say about what they were?

          1. Ken

depends. They might not be XX or XY but some other combination. Same with aspects of the skeletal structure.

        2. Chris

Are you one of those anti biological female people? The ones who think it’s fair for a biological male to compete in female sports? This world’s insane and people like you are ruining it. Nevermind this dork game. In the real world biological females are being physically and mentally hurt by this nonsense.

          1. Ken

No, they really are not. Trans women are women.

    3. Cameron

Well done and thank God someone has a brain!!!

  7. Mike Lloyd

How does such a tiny minority get to wield such massive influence?

    1. Ken

same way any oppressed group gains rights and equality.

decades of fighting for what is right

  8. KC

Correct. It used to be that mental illness was TREATED. Now it’s ignored and normalized.

  9. Lee

All she is saying is, regardless of what you want to be or have transitioned to be, it’s biological women who menstruate. That’s it. And she’s correct. If I had a sex change and started calling myself a woman, I still can’t menstruate. Only a biological woman. If they’re so much against her then cut ties completely with her work. No more Quidditch, HP movies or books. Nothing.

    1. Ken

unless that woman is born with a condition that causes her uterus not to work properly so they don’t menstrate, like Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome

so she is not a biological woman now?

  10. Joe Hamilton

    Woke sissies on the loose

    1. Ken

      Congratulations Joe.

Did that make you feel like the big tough guy you think you are?

  11. Ken

Will needs to learn more science since there are intersex people

  12. RoC

I wonder if the actors are refusing their royalties from the movies and disassociate themselves from the characters (answer: I guess not because they got together to celebrate what made them famous and wealthy)
Why is it that if I say I am a billionaire people want proof, but a man says he is a woman and the same people accept it without proof? If you are gay, good for you, I understand that, but a mule is not a horse and saying otherwise does not make it so.

    1. Ken

      1) trans does not mean gay.
      2) gender is a construct
      3) biology has more than just XX and XY

  13. Mason

I’m not a fan of Harry Potter but I agree with JK Rowling’s views on the transgender community is. This is getting way too far. Since the Transgender community no longer looks like a community it looks more like a death cult.

    1. Ken

..right. Exactly how is it a death cult? This should be interesting.

  14. Joeybats

I don’t care how you identify yourself, if it doesn’t affect my life then why should I care. Live and let live. However…when a person forces others to accept something that obviously and logically is not true that’s where I will not buy into your fantasy. If you “feel” like a woman and want to wear a dress, go for it. When you start harassing those who will NOT buy into “your truth”, I have an issue with it.
By the same thought process, if I declared myself a Giraffe and demanded to be treated as such…I’m pretty sure they’d come after me with a net.

    1. Ken

“when a person forces others to accept something that obviously and logically is not true ”

      and you failed right there..

      1. South Jones

I thought her point was very well made. What’s your problem with it?

  15. Phil the Giraffe

Ken, so answer my question here.
I now identify as a Giraffe. It’s my truth. My dna strand proves that I am NOT at the most basic level of creation a giraffe, but I will cancel you and harass you if you disagree with me. How is it different? Help me out here.
Btw…I have no beef with the LGBTQ+ community, most are good people. This is not a hatred thing just a thought experiment.

    1. Ken

      Easy.

      Fake hypotheticals mean nothing.

Also, again, XXY, X, XXYY, etc..your “DNA” is more than XX and XY

    2. South Jones

Phil the Giraffe, the hatred comes from the LGBTQ community.

Harry Potter is not JK Rowling. Harry Potter doesn’t actually exist. Doesn’t make any sense to take it out on Harry Potter or Harry Potter’s favorite sport (which also doesn’t exist) for what JK Rowling does or doesn’t do. You shouldn’t read Harry Potter because Rowling is a wonderful or terrible person, you should read it because HP is a great book that teaches great values.

Quiddich doesn’t exist in the sense that broomsticks can’t fly with current technology, but if anybody wants to pretend to play it, it’s their right. Changing its name doesn’t change what it is because a rose by another name is just as sweet. However, if a person really is offended by Quiddich, shouldn’t they stop playing it rather than changing its name? Changing the name can easily destroy the sport because most people watch or play the sport for the sole reason that it is Quiddich, the game of Harry Potter.

I’m a Trump supporter. JK Rowling said once that Trump is like Voldemort. I thought that was odd — did Trump kill a bunch of people for the heck of it? But I respect her belief, she has the right to think that and to say what she thinks. Didn’t stop me from loving Harry Potter. It’s not my concern what authors (or actors or directors or manufacturers) believe on their own time. I buy or enjoy a product based on the product quality, not on the creator’s beliefs, being that most of the time, we don’t know or care what the creators believe, or even who they are.

  18. May

What JK Rowling thinks about transgenders or anything else should be irrelevant to Harry Potter or Quiddich. What is Rowling’s religion, political party, spouse choice or view of anything is none of anybody else’s business but her own. If she wants to believe the earth is flat or she is the queen of the universe, she has that right, and you have the right to disagree with her and think she’s gone off the deep end.

    1. South Jones

      👍100%

  19. Parker

She stated her opinion on what she thought while simultaneously saying she stands with transgender men and women to have the right to believe whatever they want and shouldn’t be discriminated against and people’s feelings were hurt. How you gone disassociate something from the person who created it? This society his cringe.

  20. May

Transgender people don’t like the gender they are born in. That’s a human condition — to dislike what we are born with. Even as a child, I’ve always felt that I should have been born rich, but I wasn’t. So I accepted it and made the most out of life until one day, I met a rich guy, married him and now I’m rich! I like it so much better than being poor.
I’m not a transgender, but if I were, I would just accept the gender I am born in and make the best of it because current medical technology doesn’t allow for a safe, true change of gender. However, if some day, technology advances enough so that it’s a simple matter to change gender, and a man can turn into a woman 100%, with uterus and everything and no serious side effects, then I see nothing wrong with a person changing his gender the way he would change a career or a shirt. Right now, changing one’s gender is a feeble attempt to mess with one’s body, like people long ago putting wings on their arms and try to fly off a cliff. Bad idea. But nowadays, you jump on a plane and fly to Disney World, no big deal.

    1. Ken

wow..that is some stupid crap you just spewed.

  21. May

Quiddich is too dangerous and should be banned until they invent a broomstick that can fly. Nowadays, players are just running around on the ground with a broomstick between their legs, poking each other in the eye. JK Rowling never recommended any Muggle to play Quiddich.

  22. R

So because the writer, creator of a fantasy book does not personally agree with the latest misogynistic leftist nonsense, the “D” gets to “rename” a huge part of her creation? WoW! That really opens up a new era of facism. I guess they will burn her books at the park entrances next. Amazing stupid people STILL think the “D” isn’t only about leftist indoctrination, pedophilic grooming, forcing lies and hate down the throats of every visitor with anti-science, anti-family, anti-woman, anti-white, anti-religion, anti-morals, anti-ethics, etc. All you leftist lunatic, low i.q., gender bending kid f#ckers can have it ALL to yourselves.

    1. Ken

Let me guess…you think Q is real

    2. South Jones

You are 100% correct! And someday when we’re in WW3 this will all turn around, because no one will have time for all this nonsense!

  23. South Jones

I think people need to grow up. So sick of the ‘woke’ mob. Without JK Rowling there would be no Harry Potter or all the millions of dollars these people made because of her. It’s time these people put their energies into something constructive instead of looking for someone or something to blame for their unhappiness. As the saying goes, idleness is the devils workshop.
