Peter Parker was going to be the victim of evil lab experiments to turn him into an anthropomorphic spider, and ends up fighting some of the other genetic lab experiments in the climax.
(And let’s not even discuss Cameron AND Oliver Stone taking a Schwarzenegger-cast stab at what ultimately became Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes remake…)
