I agree with Jay, “ IF A GUEST CAN SEE IT, IT SHOULD BE THEMED PERIOD.”

Disney started getting CHEAP years ago with the construction of Warehouse Mountain also known as Everest. The company was to cheap to finish the faux snowy mountain look so only did part of it and the rest was a regular corrugated building side. This could be viewed from the parking lot of Animal Kingdom as well as the highway leading to the park. Disney’s answer to this was to paint a village on it. It is the same thing at Galaxies Edge, from World Drive you can see the I-beams and unfinished backside. IF A GUEST CAN SEE IT, IT SHOULD BE THEMED PERIOD. Disney has been getting cheaper year after year but their greed knows no end and unless guests start voicing their displeasure it will never stop. Hell Disney still has not built anything that comes close to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal when it comes to quality of design and detail. Diagon alley was done so well it looks like it came straight out of the movies and makes you actually feel like you are part of that world. Galaxies Edge was supposed to be Disney’s answer to this and came out boring, flat and lifeless. I could go on forever and give examples where Disney has lost the magic but until guest say enough is enough it will only get worse and that is truly sad.

When we rode the Skyliner by, that was the first thing I noticed. I was surprised, but assumed it was because construction was still in progress at the time. I have to agree that it’s a downer. Now that the parks are ramping up post-COVID, I hope they’ll get this corrected soon. Maybe none of the managers ever rode the Skyliner?
