I’d love to see the next Spider-Man take his place as a role-model just as seriously as Holland does. I’m grateful my boys have someone so great to look up to in the entertainment industry…where substance and class can be hard to find some of the time.

No one. Disney should just keep Tom Holland. The reason DC is failing is because they keep swapping actors we grow to love as their character. I’m already pissed about losing Wesley Snipes as Blade. Tom has been the best Spider-Man ever. Why ruin a good thing?

Exactly! Disney replace good actors with cheaper actors so they don’t have to pay more. That’s the new Disney motto, “Less is More!” (less rewarding for you, more cash for us.)

I want Tom Holland he is the best Spiderman we have ever had. Only a fool would change him to some one else.

I ate when they change the actors. I will not be watching any of a Marvel movies except no way home because they have gotten rid of the originals.

I liked all of the Spider Men but Tom Holland is my fave. Absolutely my fave. And of course we will screw this up.
Studios can’t help but mess things up.

Yall do realize that this is an animated series, right? That means that he’s not truly being replaced, they are just getting someone to play the voice. Tom is still Spider-Man until they say something different at the end of the new movie

Holland’s contract is now over, Jordan. To keep him he & Sony will have to negociate a new contract for a set number of future movies for a new pay rate per film. Tom has made it clear that he wants to continue on & thus it seems he would be willing to be very “fair” in what he would ask for paymentwise moving foward but it also seems that the studio may have already made him either an “unfair” payment offer or simply told him they cannot afford him for any future movies – or in other words told him they won’t be trying to hire him anymore which is the same as firing him. Cheapskate studios can’t understand why big budget remakes starring nobodies keep failing – but it’s obvious: fans have favorite characters played by favorite actors & expect those actors to be kept on until they’ve exhausted the role & leave on a high note. And fans are sick to death of reboots, studios need to do character-driven stories similar to Doctor Who: when a fan-fav actor leaves the role replace said actor but keep the story going as if nothing happened to the character at all. Kind of like the old Bond movies did it as well before the Amazing Daniel Craig run rebooted things. But the studios are way too greedy to spend up front what they need to to risk making those type of films that will probably pay off huge at the box office but that always carry a risk of bombing too. And that risk vs their greed is a losing combo that results in awesome actors like Tom Holland not getting his contract renewed for his fan-favie role because greedy morons fear his future movies might not end up being the worldwide dynamite that all his previous films have been. Damn greedy morons are so greedy they just cannot see how brain-dead stupid such fears most likely are.

I’m well aware that his contract ends for the 3 movies, doesn’t mean he this is about replacing him.

Holland will be back as Spider-Man, I’m not worried.
