During the 50th anniversary celebrations, we have started to see Disney World make additional collaborations with companies to celebrate this big moment in the Walt Disney World Resort history.
With Orlando International Airport also having 50th anniversary photo-ops as well as decor for the celebration, having an airline which is also starting the magic of a Disney vacation before you land at MCO is a major deal! Recently, however, Southwest has been in some hot water.

People recently reported that Southwest has had to launch an investigation due to the allegation that a pilot used anti-Biden language on a flight. The publication noted:
Last week, the pilot — who has not been identified — reportedly uttered the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” during his greetings on a flight from Houston, Texas, to Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Associated Press reported.
The now-viral phrase gained traction in October when NASCAR driver Brandon Brown took part in a post-race interview with a reporter, who thought the crowd behind them was shouting “Let’s go Brandon,” when they were actually screaming “F— Joe Biden.”

It seems that once it was said, there were audible gasps from passengers who had heard the saying before and understood what it meant. Southwest Airlines (@SouthwestAir) has recently released a statement on Twitter regarding the incident.
We know many of you have heard about recent statements that may have been made on a Southwest flight, and we wanted you to hear directly from us.

The statement noted that Southwest “takes pride in providing a welcoming, comfortable, safe and respectful environment for the millions of Customers who fly with us each year.” It went on to stress that the company “does not condone Employees sharing their personal political opinions while on the job serving our Customers,” also noting that “one Employee’s perspective should not be interpreted as the viewpoint of Southwest and its collective 54,000 Employees.”

The statement continued:
“Southwest is conducting an internal investigation into the recently reported event and will address the situation directly with any Employee involved while continuing to remind all Employees that public expression of personal opinions while on duty is unacceptable. Southwest does not tolerate any behavior that encourages divisiveness, as it does not reflect the Southwest Hospitality and inclusiveness for which we are known and strive to provide each day on every flight.”
Southwest is on the side that political beliefs or personal beliefs of any kind that do not directly pertain to the customer’s safety should not be shared.
