Celebrating Christmas at Disney World is pure magic, as all four parks are already decked out for the holidays. You can find a giant tree no matter where you go, even Disney Springs! Disney Springs is an amazing place to go if you want to get into the holiday spirit without purchasing a theme park ticket. Many of the restaurants have holiday offerings on their menu. Then there is a Christmas tree hunt that you can go on, finding specifically themed trees for your favorite Disney attractions and characters.
Another holiday offering at Disney Springs is Santa Claus! If you want to meet Santa Claus and not just wave to him as he rolls down Main Street, U.S.A. in a cavalcade, Disney Springs is the place to do it. Starting November 12, Guests will be able to sign up for a virtual queue on their My Disney Experience app. All you have to do is click the virtual queue button on the home page and select Disney Springs. Be prepared to join at either 9:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. and please note that you will have to be at Disney Springs to join.
From the looks of it, it seems that this virtual queue will be similar to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure or the previous virtual queue, Rise of the Resistance, with two join times, and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
If you are interested in a holiday snack while you wait for your return time, below is a list of all of the holiday locations at Disney Springs that offer something special. If you do choose to go to this offering, be prepared to take a socially distanced photo with Santa with a mask, as it will be in an indoor location at Once Upon a Toy. PhotoPass will be available, as well.
