Hell yes I wish jaws was still around. This was my favorite universal ride of all time. I hope they somehow bring it back. Why not do a state of the art water themed Jaws ride at volcano bay??? Universal studios doesn’t feel right without Jaws and all this Harry Potter crap going on in it’s place.

As someone who has been a constant fixture at the Universal parks since 1995 (and a current AP holder since 2010), I have seen quite a few amazing attractions (Jaws, King Kong, Back to the Future, Jimmy Neutron, Earthquake, etc.) come and go. That being said, the truth of the matter is that being a vocal fan and supporter of Universal in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s was not exactly an easy or popular thing to do, but for those of us who “stood by” them from the beginning, it’s a very exciting thing to see their current success & to have a front seat for the great things they have to come! Being a huge Harry Potter fan, obviously I absolutely LOVE the way they have been incorporated into the Parks and SO excited for all the things coming in the near future. To see people calling the HP sections “crap” and other juvenile names, I wonder if they realize that the “crap” they hate so much has almost singlehandedly kept the Parks open for the last several years and probably will continue to do so in the near future (Lord knows it won’t be because of the “amazing” Fast and Furious attraction or anything like that 🙄). If you don’t like it, that’s cool, but please don’t name call the things that are a prime component of why we still get to enjoy and share ALL the fantastic aspects Universal has to offer!

I dont care for Universal Florida anymore. All the fun iconic movie stuff is gone.. Kong, Jaws, Back to the Future, etc. The Psycho house (granted not the original). You wonder how Univeral CA has been able to retain what they have.

A good barometer of when a ride is running out of steam is short lines When you consider what replaced it, hell no! Was a fun, cheesy ride but was time to go.

Somewhere buried under Gringott’s is a chunk of dilapidated rubber resembling a shark.

The shark has been MIA from the area for a little while now. Much as I love all the Harry Potter attractions, I definitely miss Jaws. It would be so exciting if Universal used some space at Epic Universe to revive classics like Jaws that mark an important moment for both Universal movies and parks.
