Old saying: Never greenlight a sequel on Thursday afternoon or Monday morning.

At this point, Kevin should just take his lumps for a film that, at this point in Phase IV, never needed to be made anyway.

Was intending to watch it because I like that Marvel did not push any agenda and no romances but won’t be seeing this in the cinema maybe watch when it comes out dvd that way I control what I want to see and fast forward the unnecessary parts 🤦🏽‍♀️

This doesn’t fit in with the formula of Marvel and now all you fan boy’s are losing your balls over it. Zhoa wouldn’t conform and make a Kevin Fiege The Marvel/Disney cookie cut formula movie and it sounds like it’s a pretty divisive film. Enjoy it for what it is and move on and just wait for Spider-Man, which I hear has it’s heaps of issues within itself.

It got rated on Rotton Tomatoes, by people who couldn’t possibly have seen it yet. I think stuff like RT and shouldn’t open the film for reviews till it has been in cinemas for 48hrs, to avoid crap like this.

Haven’t been to a movie since BIRDS OF PREY (due to covid), and I intend to make THE ETERNALS my first trip to the theatres since Feb 2020. It looks good, I like comic book & scifi movies, a couple of my favourite actors are in it, we’ve got a deaf superhero (unlike Hawkeye, who had to get a TV series before anyone remembered he wears hearing aids), and it has an interesting set of character dynamics. I’m in.

I cant believe people are hating on a movie that hasn’t even been released yet it make no sense. I wouldn’t care if this movie had a 0 in RT I would still watch the movie before complaining about it, I’m still hyped for this movie and plan to watch it when it finally releases.

Let’s face it, the only reason people who haven’t even seen the movie yet are giving it bad reviews is because they are triggered by there being a gay character and they pathetically need to score imaginary political points by giving it to “liberal Hollywood. ” Sane and mature people won’t care and will go out in droves to see what sure looks like a visually stunning film.

I hate stuff like this because I don’t know if the movie is actually bad or a bunch of dudes are really butthurt that the director is an Asian woman and the cast is diverse

The problem is this is not Kirby’s vision but Neil Gaiman’s vision. So it’s crap. If you’re do a movie based on something Jack Kirby did then it should be based on his work not someone else’s. Too many Kirby purist out there.
