Reminds me of the Christmas that a toy company sold empty boxes of Star Wars toys. When the toys came into America, they would mail it to you later. I think that was during the Carter administration. Biden’s mentor.
These aren’t even remotely related issues. The Star Wars toys were the result of not expecting the popularity of the film to be so big. The only way that they could get anything sold for the coming holiday season was to sell the boxes empty as the toys still had to be developed/created.
The items missing from the shelves now are sitting in ships waiting to be unloaded.
I am here at Disney this week and there is very little in the way of 50th Anniversary merchandise. I can’t even find a Christmas ornament that isn’t plastic. The selection is way down this time which is disappointing to say the least.
Agreed Frank, cheap total crap products from China, that’s all that company sells. Their deep relationship with that EVIL country explains a lot about who they are and who they represent in their business models, profit margins, and who exactly they are catering to in their movies and parks. Sick and very sad.

Just returned from WDW..all the shops were very low on merchandise, plush characters were virtually nonexistent, mugs..very few..former cast member from the ’70’s and APH..have never seen the shelves so bare.
Disney is no different than the rest of the retail industry across the US. Heck, our grocery store has had a difficult time keeping things like chips in stock.
I’m just sad for the folks who are visiting the parks & can’t get the 50th memorbilia unless they buy from resellers. That really needs to stop.
I knew this was happening because even the Disney Store website (Shop Disney) didn’t have the usual Christmas things like the reusable bags (the UK apparently has them but not us) which is very bizarre

Thanks for your post. It is quite revealing although not in the way you probably intended.

Obiden* makes Carter look like a genius. Sad and disgusting. At least Carter was actually elected, as far as we know.

Maybe Disney should start buying more American made local products?

Frank,
Are you producing anything they can sell? I am sure you do as your reply makes it seem like this is a very easy thing to do.
Maybe you should start a local manufacturing company to take care of their supply issues.
