I’m going to be really upset if the train isn’t up and running when we go in June. Love the memories from previous trips. All because of Tron! Who even cares about that 😅

They could have built a tempory tunnel but nooo

Been waiting for it to re-open. One of my must ride rides.

Honestly, it’s been closed since 2017. We went in February then & it was closed. Opened for a couple months then closed again. Haven’t been on it since 2014. It’s always closed.

This! We like to go before the holidays and it always seems to be closed

we always hoped on the train as soon as we enter the park, it was always the start of our vacation, we have missed our tradition the last 3 years and are hoping when we return for our 45th annv. in April of 2022 it will again be open and we can start things off right once again.

Is Disney going to start charging us to breathe the air?

It is ridiculous that they have to close any attraction
for an extended length of time. I’m sure it’s extremely disappointing for many guests. Not exactly a good way to say ‘come back and see us again soon’!

When the rail lines were built out west they could build 3-10 miles a day, I think Disney should be able to build 1/2 mile in a few weeks !

Was disappointed that the railroad was closed the last time we were there, but while riding the Peoplemover in Tomorrowland, we could see why . . . The tracks had to be removed to allow all of the heavy construction equipment to move freely around the site and the support structures for the coaster were almost, if not right, on the track path. . .
We think a little ‘dogleg’ or curve will be needed to return the train tracks into the landscape . . . So that’ll be near the end of the construction of the new Tron coaster.
Patience, people. . . WDW has been redoing/tweaking things for 50 years, now. . . And it’ll be great, once it reopens.
We’re not going for another year ( after the 50th hoopla fades ) at least. So, I expect, by then, to be able to enjoy the WDWRR again.

I hope it re-opens by Feb. 2022 when we go. It is another of those classic Disney rides that are timeless.
As for timeless, I’d add that I see no reason to change some of the other classic rides like Pirates, Jungle Cruise, and of course SPLASH MOUNTAIN!

The could stop at Tron and drive backwards to the main station again.
