While viewers are taken on this historic journey, artifacts and objects that have been kept within the Disney Archives will be used to help describe various points in time on the Disney timeline. For example, the piano used to make some of the most iconic Disney songs by Richard and Robert Sherman (AKA The Sherman Brothers) will be getting its fair share of screen time in one of the special’s segments.

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill appeared in the trailer for the special and stated:

“Walt Disney was one of the first to pull back the curtain…And show how movies and television were made.”

Directed by John Gleim, Adventure Thru the Walt Disney Archives will be a must-see event. The Walt Disney Archives are rarely, if ever, showcased to the public, therefore the special will display eye-opening and nostalgic artifacts that every Disney fan will appreciate.
