I don’t respect people for wearing two layers of cloth. I respect them for getting the vaccine.
Now that kids and the immunocompromised can be vaccinated, masks should be optional.
First off, no one respects you for it. Quite the opposite in fact, as you look ridiculous. Second, you really don’t see the difference in choosing to wear a hat and being forced to wear something over your face that makes it difficult to breathe and communicate? I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic or just deranged.
Or those who dont want to wear a mask to protect cast members, fellow guests can o elsewhere.
I have made 5 trips to DW in the last year, wore a mask, even when it was required outside at Disney Springs. Somehow it did not ruin my trip.
It’s their house their rules. If I dont agree with them, I can choose not to go or suck it up and follow their rules.
If they get rid of mask mandate, I probably would limit my indoor shopping, and rides. I choose to avoid large unmasked crowds. I am Vaxed, with booster but wear mask, even when a store doesnt require. Why? It’s not a big deal, might help avoid cold and flu too, and if the simple act of wearing a mask might help reduce the spread of covid, its not a big sacrifice.
You dont need to agree with me, but saying wearing a mask is living in fear is just not truthful. It’s being part of a society and having empathy and respect for others, but you do you.
Then you do you. Wear a mask and let us do what we choose. Some of us don’t want to wear a mask. It doesn’t make us selfish or not empathetic. It makes us normal.
It still amazes me how many lunatics who want to live in perpetual fear and engage in theater similar to the old duck and cover drills. And furthermore they their hysteria FORCED on everyone who isn’t insane. The mask mandates should be over now, and I certainly won’t be forking over my hard earned money just to have to wear a useless face diaper
Soooo, when it’s fireworks and holiday parade time, crowds can be shoulder to shoulder breathing on each other mask-less. But indoors where they aren’t as close, they have to wear masks? Don’t give me the “but it’s outdoors” reason. When you are that close to people, that doesn’t make any difference anymore.

Please lift the mask rules. We’ve been putting off our trip until the masks are gone and have already cancelled twice.

I agree! At this point it should be a choice.
I’m also sick of postponing my trip.

You choose to wear mouse ears and Disney-character t-shirts, but are offended at the idea of being MADE to wear something people will respect you for?

Lift the mask mandate!!!

Indoor mask mandate is needed. If they take the mask mandate away I may have to skip my next trip to WDW.
Bill
Drop the masks and I’m there.
Masks are a symbol. They don’t work as they are portrayed.
Stef
No to mask mandates. Let those who wish to live in fear stay at home.

Let those who wish to continue living afraid wear their masks, and those who wish to not be muzzled breath.
