One of our very favorite people in this world is Neil Patrick Harris. He is funny, witty, and simply intriguing. Disney loves Neil Patrick and Neil Patrick loves Disney. It’s the perfect mix. And while we’re eagerly awaiting (with fingers crossed) the announcement that Neil Patrick Harris will once again host EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional, we can’t help but check in on his spooktacular family photo for Halloween that never seems to fail with a fantastic Halloween costume idea. In 2019 Neil won over Halloween with an artist family Halloween pic. This year, we’re thrilled to say he hasn’t let us down in 2021.
Happy Halloween from Neil Patrick Harris’ family with a photo that simply encompasses all films that make horror movies as creepy and wonderful as they are. @nph shared on Instagram: “‘Frights, Camera, Action!’ This Halloween, may all your screams come true…” with the following photo:
Yep…. there’s lots to unfold here. First, you’ll see Neil as a Bates Motel son (Norman Bates) with his mother in what we believe is featuring the film, Psycho. Neil’s kids – daughter Harper – is obviously from the scary possessed child in The Exorcist film while their son, Gideon, is representing Chucky. Then to take their horror film family photo one step further, Neil’s spouse, David Burtka, must be representing The Shining. Well done, Neil… well done!
Most recently, Neil took to Instagram to share, “I am ecstatic to announce the new project I’ve been working on called Wondercade. What is this @wondercade you might ask? Well, it’s a weekly newsletter created by me, thanks for asking. It’s filled with the things, places, and people that I find interesting and offers readers a mix of inspiration and information. Sign up now via the link in my bio and get ready to share in the shenanigans. Coming soon.” Yes, we have personally signed up for Wondercade because who doesn’t want to hear more from Neil?! Neil Patrick Harris for the win this Halloween!
Our photos don’t come close to comparing to Neil’s this Halloween season. What’s your favorite part of Neil’s family photo this year?
