I used to have a Disney cap that had on the front a surfer’s ying-yang logo with Mickey ears, until it suddenly dawned on me why I might be getting dirty looks in Epcot China.
And if that sounds mild compared to some of the inappropriate t-shirts, consider that I still did the considerate thing and changed it.
This is crazy. What about the women who walk around with there ass cheeks hanging out and the boobs falling out of there tiny tops they have on . And people with dogs in strollers Bc they don’t want to leave them at home. But we do t want to offend anyone with a tshirt
Disneyland participates in the D shenanigans…on the Toy Story Bus we drive by a sign “Safe D Begins With Me.” Some young wise dude always reads the sign and the bus erupts in laughter. The poor little ones have to listen to the craziness. Hey Josh Amaro that sign needs to come down now!
Why would kids think it would mean anything but Disney. I was in the park for the 50th and people were wearing what looked like bras with everything hanging out. I’ll take the tshirts. Get a life
Disney is a place for children… children exist 100% because of the D, so what’s the problem? Don’t act like you aren’t trying to get your kids out of the room on your magical vacation to give the wife the D. Kids have to learn sometime, what a better place than here? Something educational finally back in Epcot Center.
It’s cool though, we’ll just keep staring at all those cheeks hanging out of those shorts because that’s not offensive to anyone. Love how they keep getting shorter.
Country is going down the tubes with social media getting offended mostly by their own imaginations. Gave the D would logically mean Disney unless you want to read something else into it, but then my family and I always thought Splash Mountain was a ride about rabbits.
Anyone who is upset to the point of seeing red and demanding people to be removed because of a double entendre need to lock themselves away and throw away the key. Look at what you watch, listen to, or play as there is much worse out there. There are no family shows on TV and anyone who says “what will I tell my kids” are clueless as to what their children actually know. This thing called the internet has already removed their ignorance about the world.
Clean up gay day shirts if this bothers you. I had more trouble explaining them than this would cause. If you want to push boundaries then push boundaries.
I must be naive for thinking that the shirt was a homemade proposal-type invitation to take the wearer to “D”isney. Harmless, right? Each individual interprets slogans, jokes and innuendo through their own personal experience. If you are offended by adult humor that is cleverly hidden in family-friendly places, maybe Disney isn’t the place for you at all.

That shirt is tacky and low class. I’d expect to see it at Walmart with the pajama people.

This article really needs a few more pictures of the tweet from the offender.

Seriously, I can’t believe that people would put that much energy into thinking it’s anything other than meaning Disney
Lauren
But the young girls dressing like women that work the corners at night is totally okay?

I can’t get an explanation anywhere on what “give me the d” means. Wtf?
John Nichols
What does D on a t shirt mean? No one seems to want to explain why it would upset anyone or what it even means?!

They are immature narcissists in an immature narcissistic society. If kids have questions let approach them for an answer.
