Hong Kong Disneyland has taken to their website to alert Guests that the Hong Kong Observatory has issued a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal Number 8 or above as Tropical Cyclone Kompasu approaches.
Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal Number 8 or above has been issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. The Park will delay opening until approximately 2-3 hours after Gale or Storm Signal Number 8 is cancelled, and will have limited operations. If this signal is cancelled when the park’s operation hours will be less than approximately 7 hours, the Park will close for the rest of the day. Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre will remain closed until further notice.

Hong Kong Disneyland has been running on a modified schedule where the Park reminded closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As we can see in the below Park calendar, they have now shifted their operational days this week due to Tropical Cyclone Kompasu. On October 13, the Park will remain closed even though that was an operational day as the level 8 warning is intact. To make up for the day, it will be open on October 14, a day where the Park typically closes.
