We were there this past week, in fact we got home last night. MK was packed and crowd levels seemed pre pandemic but ride wait times were less than average minus a few popular ones. Hollywood studios compared in capacity with longer wait times…..epcot and animal kingdom were average to less than average.
Merch shopping was difficult and a lot of out of stocks.
We are at WDW now. MK on Monday the 18th felt incredibly crowded. This is our third October here (2013 and 2017 too), and while we expect to see long wait times at Peter Pan, Mine Train, etc., we were really shocked to not be able to ride things like Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World, Pirates. We rode less than normal because we just didn’t want to wait more than 30ish minutes for rides like those with kids. We used Genie at HS yesterday and that helped some, but felt like we spent half they day in our phones figuring it out.
I agree! We were there the same week, and the crowds far exceeded those during the same week every other year!
One breath of fresh air was that without FastPass screwing up the queues, most lines moved right along at a good pace!
Thank goodness we got on everything before having to pay for it this week! 😃👍
We were in all the parks from Oct 10 to 16th. It was packed but restaurants still didn’t have all their tables so it was impossible for me to make sit down reservations. Only east coast people and on -site guests got those. We were able to walk in at 4:30 for dinner once. Mobile order places were super busy all the time. Hollywood studios on Monday was like summer. Stores were crazy.
Mobile ordering has completely disrupted quick serve dining, and we avoided any place that offered it!
Fortunately, we were able to book our sit-down meals far in advance with no problem! 👍
We were there on October 1st to the 7th. I can tell you that on the 1st (50th anniversary) in the afternoon/evening it felt like MK was at 110% capacity. The whole rest of the week was quite busy as well, at all the parks. Not unique to WDW though. We went to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure twice this past week (on a Monday and a Saturday) and it’s equally packed there.
YO ESTUVE EL DIA 5 DE OCTUBRE Y SI ES CIERTO MAGIC KINGDOM ESTABA SOBRE SU CAPACIDAD INCLUSIVE PARA LLEGAR HASTA ALLÀ TUVIMOS QUE IR EN LA LANCHA PORQUE EL MONORREAL ESTABA REPLETO PARA IR Y REGRESAR.PERO TODO SUPER BONITO.LA UNICA QUEJAR ES QUE EN LA TIENDA SOLO HABIAN COMP 5 ARTICULOS DE LA RECUERDOS DE LOS 50 AÑOS.QUERIA UNA CAMISA Y NO LA CONSEGUÍ.
