fastpass kiosks disney world

  1. It’s probably scheduled for painting. Many of the former kiosks need a refresh. Some have even needed the pavement redone. I hope Disney finds all of this change worth it. I already told them that I was not paying for fast pass/genie+.

They better save those machines they’re taking out. We all need to state our mind to them. Money talks. You don’t listen, we don’t go. You change your mind and actually ask your customers what they want instead of being more greedy than you already are. People are starting to hate Disney for various things they’ve done over the last couple years. They keep it up, they’ll lose their best fans.

Some people have always hated Disney, nothing new there. Who cares? Those people were never going to the parks anyway.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Disney over the years, spending lots of money flying from England for 2 weeks holiday and staying on property, I do not hate Disney, BUT I DISLIKE this Board of GREEDY Executives and I for one will not be buying Lighting passes or Genie+. With so much being taken away from a Disney Holiday and nothing being added except price increases and cash grabs, I’m going to stay in Universal parks in future and Woo to Disney when Universal open their EPIC PARK. The Magic has gone from Disney sadly but Universal offer so much more for your money these days.

hey Julian,, instead of the threats to go Universal, why not just go this year? Is it because at the end of day, like us Americans, you will still go Disney and pay high prices for less value? Of course it is and the greedy board and Chapek know it.

Hi Jo, No threat, the tickets are booked for Universal all the way, instead of Disney getting 2 weeks of my money they will only get a 2 or 3 days in the parks at best. Yes I am a sucker for Disney, but I’m not going to let them walk all over me and think it is OK.

Listen to consumers??? thats a laugh. Consumers have been saying bring back fast pass since it was in question this summer. Greedy people don’t listen unless it how to make more money for themselves. The board and Chapek don’t care about consumers or people. They know Americans are too spoiled to make any significant change. It would take the country standing against Disney and not go for their to be a change. Americans don’t have that kind of stamina in them. Sad but true. Prices go up and the parks are full.

Sadly Disney with the current board I agree do not listen to its Customer, so as mentioned above I’ve taken most of my custom away. Universal has my 2 weeks hotel booking. Disney needs to wake up in 2023 Epic is coming and along with all the other attractions in Florida, Disney will for me at least get a smaller piece of the pie, until they change their way. Disney had problems in the 80’s with guest slowing up and not coming to stay on property and go into the Parks it will happen again.

Will it be a day deal. We are coming on the 19th as it’s our wedding anniversary and came from IN. Staying relitives and she managed to get the night off so we can spend the whole day and evening together as she loves Disney and has not been there for over a year.Disney was the only thing I really wanted to when planning on coming down. Was excited to get the reservation made

Disney seems to be more about the almighty dollar than continuing to be the happiest place in the world. The ticket costs are already outrageous adding additional fees for a “Fast Pass” is just to much. 😞

Jo is correct and that is the problem. If people were actually upset they would not only say it in social media but also in the parks. There are who will pay to skip the line. Which is exactly what they are doing letting their money entitle them to go past you. They are part of the problem and what Disney is counting on to make this a success. Most families cannot afford this and those are the ones that Disney slowly wants to thin from the parks. Class war is what it is about and will continue to be.

    Like all
Businesses, Disney has felt the effects of the pandemic during the last 19 months. And like all businesses, will need to make up for lost revenues, thus the extra $15 per day. I’m not happy about that but will bite the bullet and pay it when I visit in December as this will probably be the last time my preteen granddaughter will want to visit.

Its a sad world that Disney feels it has to rip their customer off for some fast cash. Not an ounce if integrity in Bob Chapek and his Board – Greedy Dirty …….. please fill in the blanks as you see fit.

Thankfully not everyone in business will feel the need to walk over their customers, after all it was not our fault, but Disney feels it has a need to take it out on its customer – How nice of them. I’m booked for Universal not Disney for my next Holiday and up-coming holidays, when you loose a customer one has to work bloody hard to get them back, and on this current Disney Board its blinded by GREED.

    2. jo

hey suzanne, you work for greedy Chapek don’t you. He could write off losses and probably did. Now he using pandemic as an excuse to up the money. Very odd you are ok with extra money and picking one ride at a time.

  6. jo

I am hoping people will follow suit with me and only use genie + for rides as required and have your day planned out on paper. Cause genie to be a failure. I won’t have dining plans or anything else on it. If I can’t walk up to a restaurant, biergarten in Germany, without it being on my phone, we will eat popcorn, ice cream at kiosks and then eat back at hotel. All the times for cavalcades, shows on line. wrote them down for each day. Only use phone for rides. Come on America, England, ect. we can do it.

I get more and more disgusted every time I read these articles. No more magic. No more happiest place on earth. As soon as I would leave Disney World, I would start planning or looking forward to my next trip. I was there 3 days before they closed at the start of the pandemic and actually have NO desire to go back now that everything I loved and PAID for seems to be disappearing!

I am so disappointed in the new fees at Disney world!! It was already out of reach for a lot of hard working people. We’ve been taking our whole family as a Christmas gift for years. No magic bands, no fast pass, no dining plan!! Sadly, we’re done with Disney….too greedy, and all about the money instead of making your experience a good and more importantly easy. I will NOT have my head down using my phone for everything.

This is so disappointing as we have our first and likely only trip planned for March with our two boys , 8 and 6. We had planned , before the pandemic, to go last year but had to cancel it. Now prices for everything are sky high. It would be $300 more for us to do lightning passes, above the $2100 we are already spending on park tickets . So it’s like a back door price increase of more than 10 percent for the same product , and if you don’t pay you might not get many rides in. Sad.

I am also saddened by the changes at Disney. It used to be fun to go. I am totally turned off by the idea of having to pay more to get on the rides faster. It is already very expensive to take a family to Disney without having to add extra fees. The Fast Passes worked so what was the problem? Disappointed! Not planning to return anytime soon!
