I’m beyond excited!! I have been waiting to see this year’s Candlelight Processional – my husband and I saw it every year, and had the opportunity to sing in it too! I lost my husband last year and it wasn’t performed last year, so this year will be special!❤️ Now to wait on dining packages…
The candlelight processional was great back in 2018. Got to see Bart Millard do it. Amazing. Only recognize 3 names so definitely not as big but sad that no actual choir will be there. Again. Disney seems to be cutting corners like crazy especially since they have someone from The View there. Not impressed
No it’s not cutting corners. Without being able to insure the vaccination of their workers all it would take is the top of that tree to have active COVID and the whole tree would get sick.
As a member of the cast choir my daughter was the top of the tree I believe it was 2 or 3 years ago. They are not from the community or schools, the tree is the Disney cast singers.
I recognize just about every name on the list not thrilled with The View though being added. But also they aren’t cutting cost by removing the schools. I performed there for 3 years with my high school and we had to pay our own way down there and back and we didn’t get paid for it. Now if we got a discount I’m not sure on that part but it was defiantly not cheap for us to get the money together.
My daughter is in the cast choir and I’m pretty sure that the reason they’re not having the school and community choirs are for safety not money because those people do not get paid nor does the regular cast choir.

Glad to see at least part of this great event is back! Those who get to see and hear Pat Sajak are in for a treat! Saw him in 2019.
