Disneyland Annual Pass: Dream Key is Sold Out - Inside the Magic

Disneyland Resort’s Top Tier in the new Annual Pass program, called the Dream Key, is now sold out. Appearing for sale in August 2021, it only took about two months for the Dream Key supply to vanish. Disneyland enthusiasts can still purchase the other two tiers of Annual Pass to the Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland’s Dream Key was touted as the top tier of the new Annual Passholder program. Loaded with benefits such as free parking, unlimited visits with no blockout dates, and 6 Park Pass Reservations at one time, this pass was incredibly popular. However, if you have not already snagged one of these golden tickets to the Happiest Place on Earth, you may have to wait a long time. The Dream Key is now sold out .

Below are more of the benefits of holding a Dream Key at Disneyland Resort:

• Reservation-based admission to one or both theme parks every day of the year
• Theme park reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance. This pass can hold up to 6 park reservations at a time on a rolling basis during any 90-day window, subject to restrictions.
• Park reservations are subject to availability and are not guaranteed for any specific dates or park
• Up to 15% off select dining
• Up to 20% off select merchandise in-store
• Standard theme park parking included

The Believe Key ($949) and Enchant Key ($649) passes are still available for sale. Of course, since the Magic Key Passes are renewable yearly, it may depend on whether Disneyland goers drop their Dream Key if others can purchase them. Disney may also reopen Dream Key passes as capacity changes or increases, but that remains to be seen. Disney had announced in August that Walt Disney World annual passes would be limited and with changing capacity in the Parks. Disneyland looks to be the same, currently.

Disneyland announced that while the Disneyland Magic Key passes would be limited in number, Guests need not rush the site like they would for shopDisney merchandise. The keys would be available for some time past “opening day.”

We know you’re eager and excited to “unlock” your new Magic Key pass, and we want you to have a magical experience upon your return to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please know it is not necessary to purchase your Magic Key on the first day of sale. That time came sooner than many expected, as they awoke to see the “Sold Out” wording on the website and the purchase buttons gone on Monday, October 25, 2021.
