The new show looks like a company financially hurting. Seems pared down, but I only got to see it online. Won’t know until next year what the in person experience is like in comparison.
Honestly, Enchantment looks pretty darn impressive from the video I saw. So excited to go see it. The projections are absolutely state of the art, and it hits a tone that is just right for the current year.
This show had little to do with 50 years of WDW. Not one hi ho or Steamboat Willy. The new show is decent. The only thing to me that said 50th was the big 50 on the castle.
Enchantment left me disenchanted. No magic or emotion in this at all. So much for 50 years. Don’t let bob paycheck destroy Walt and Mickey sign the petition.
Me personally, I prefer the Happily Ever After Show more than Enchantment. The music and projection in Happily Ever After is a lot more emotional and epic for me. I wish that Disney will bring back the Happily Ever After show (with more fancy fireworks, new projection and new characters like Disney Planes, Kim Possible, Little Einsteins, Star vs the Forces of Evil, etc).
The new show is HORRIBLE. Talk about a massive let down. I was so disappointed by the new show that I couldn’t sleep for two days. No joke. Compared to HEA, Encrapment is an embarrassment.
Watching the video (attending later this month), it is entertaining. There are parts I agree with that are lame, parts nobody mentioned that I found poorly thought out, and parts where some of you are just being unreasonable about.
I actually got goosebumps a few times watching it, can’t wait to see it in person. This being despite the issues I didn’t like. It was done beautifully, in a technical sense, for sure.
Here’s the thing, though…I watched a refresher on HEA, afterward, and was immediately reminded that, indeed, it’s better. Enchantment was entertaining, but Happily Ever After was a different beast that really appeals to the wallets that fund the journey to the park. Enchantment is absolutely for the youngsters. Us fans of Quasimodo and Baloo are being phased out, and it isn’t pretty to watch, but it’s their business model.

Love Wishes!
Disappointed by Happily Ever After (if you are going to create a petition, please use proper English and capitalize proper names).
Really enjoyed Enchantment! Thought the story and emotion was spot on.
Then again, I detest mayonnaise, while so many seem to enjoy it. Go figure.

What difference does it make now that the fireworks are temporarily closed

Happily Ever After was not impressive. Wishes or Fantasy In the Sky they need to bring back.
