CEO Bob Chapek has promised that the brand new experience will leave Guests “blown away”. The only thing that’s blown people away so far is the price tag of $3000 per night for the SW hotel.
This sounds like it’ll be similar to a 2 day tour so the price isn’t so out of line. Add up the cost of a stay at the Poly or Contemp, add tix, meals, dedicated transportation and a tour, you’ll be at a similar price point but this is a much more unique experience.
Yup 5000 two people 2nights. And you get to go to Hollywood studios. And don’t let me forgot 3 meals a day. Sorry but I can think of better things to do with 5000k. But the first day they are open. They are sold out. Crazy how some people are over Disney.
This “sold out” is for promotional purposes and many of the “trips” were given away for media. Just watch how this fails. Also, no one cares about you using the lousy Disney Star Wars movies on your cruise or in the park as the theme. Retheme them both with what George Lucas did and you’ll make people happier. Disney SW movies suck.
Reading the comments to this point, it seems fair to say, “Would you like some cheeze with that whine?”
This looks to be an incredibly fun experience. Not everyone will want it. Not everyone who wants it can afford it. Kind of like Disney theme parks around the world. I know people who’ve never been and never will go. I know people who go multiple times a year. I know people who save for years so they can have a truly special experience.
Its not magical or the happiest place on Earth anymore, despite Disney’s desperate laughable advertising it is. Disney why oh why did you let Bob and his cronies run Disney, all they are doing is running it into the ground.
This should be named The 1% Resort, for that is the only portion of the population that can afford to stay here! As for the entrance, it looks like a bomb shelter! It couldn’t be any uglier. Jeez, black poured concrete!!!
If you just wait and save your money (if that will even be possible with this hell hole global takeover by the same people who are behind Disney) you can go into real space and it will be boring as hell and nothing like the movies!

How long before this idea is a failure, too expensive and priced out of reach for many. Do us all a favour Bob Chapek, step down.
