Why don’t they bring back the “snorkeling pool”?

They built something over it. I remember reading it was hard to maintain and not enought guests complied with leaving the fish alone…
      We loved it!

Progress on the mountain looks good: You can tell work is happening on the landslide. That new tarp even appears to show the “terraces” of the slope, which they’ll need squared away to prevent future slides.

Progress on the slides looks okay. You can see where some crack repairs were made at the top, but there is another open section being worked on. That fiberglass is over 30 years old, and the sun/heat did a ton of damage last year.

Wave pool work appears to only be refacing the rocks, and maybe re-doing the concrete floor?

Here is the big dilemma: Typhoon is their best water park for size, spacing, and extra hours $. It has now been closed for 21 months. Blizzard is a fine substitute, but it has not had necessary annual refurbishment work since December 2019. There is likely a LOT of work that needs to happen there as well…!

I pray Typhoon re-opens in time for the big 50th anniversary (at least October, if not October 1st), so they can have all 6 parks open at once. Let’s hope they get it moving quickly for that, if not to give Blizzard some downtime.

Coming from someone who owned DVC, and vacationed for many years – this company is going down!!! They shouldn’t have participated in the many children that have been sex trafficked through their satanic company!! I can’t wait for the whole company to go down!! Walt was a horrible evil, 33rd degree Freemason. Ever wonder why that was the name of the most elite restaurant in the park 👺
