I’m sorry if I’m paying that much I want the experience to be fully immersive. I don’t want the experience to be watered down by people in street clothes. Couldn’t Disney just rent out/sell a costume to everyone as part of the experience. It doesn’t have to be a very expensive one, just add the price to the booking. They are happy to charge through the nose for everything else. Surely Disney can get Halloween level Star Wars costumes in bulk for a relatively cheap price.

Disney has a gigantic laundry/tailoring facility onsite. They can handle providing basic costumes.

      Great point!

I totally agree. I thought costumes were already a part of the experience. Even if you go as an observer can’t they just give you a robe?!

As soon as I win the lottery, I’ll sign up. Until then, no thanks.

It is WAY out of my price range. I would love to go but can’t afford to spend thousands of dollars for just 2 days.

I know I’m replying to my own post. But as I have been reading about this whole thing since it was publicised I was thinking how cool, maybe I could be the alien with the blue skin or long brown horns. Then I was thinking, I wear glasses that might look weird but we’re amateur actors, right? Then I was thinking what about masks? If COVID is still out there, which it probably will be, they should have masks that match the costumes. It’s Hollywood people, we want to play the parts. Isn’t that a part of what we’re paying for?
