Hello Everyone,
I’d like to say some positive things. First, this movie was outstanding. Seen it twice. By the way, I’m white. Color should never be an issue in society. My role model growing up is Bruce Lee. Now, aside from all the things people think good or bad, I can assure you the script, acting and directing as well as producer, everyone involved created a masterpiece. I’d like to thank all the Actors, Actresses and writers involved with such a great story to tell, with character portrayals we would all appreciate.
I’d see it again and again. We definitely need a follow up to this greatness.
You can say it’s “toxicity” or you can say it’s reporting exactly what Simu Liu said and he seems to be trying to spin it now that the biggest market on the planet is about to censor his masterpiece. The movie is spectacular and is easily one of the best MCU movies ever. You can’t just accept the good and reject the bad. Liu made a comment that he regrets now and the people ,reporting and commenting on it, aren’t toxic. They are reporting facts
No he is absolutely correct. The person(s) who unearth this are toxic. This comment has been around to 3 years but someone decides to release it during the time Shang Chi is being released. Someone is ultimately trying to prevent Shang Chi from being released in China. It appears that he answered question regarding what his parents told him about China and why they left. This was back in 2017. It’s clear that someone decided in 2021 to dig this up and try use it against him. His parents fled China to Canada for a reason. It wasn’t because it was a great place to live. He responded the right way.
