Shang-Chi, we just complained about why they were even bothering to show it in American theaters, since it was basically Marvel’s version of the live-action Mulan!
We saw it this past Sunday. My only complaint is that it felt a bit “long”. To be fair though, I can’t think of any particular scene that I felt like could have been cut out of the story to shorten it some. Also, the fact that the theater seemed to include about 30 minutes of previews for other films before the show even started may have added to the long feeling. Typically I don’t feel like the trailer segment at my local theaters is that extensive. It was like they expected a lot of eyes to be on them and decided to include EVERY big Summer movie.
