Guests can now add on a special dessert party that happens twice a night during a performance of the Frightfully Fun Parade. On a recent visit, I was able to attend a dessert party. But was it worth the price tag?
Dessert Party
The dessert party at the Oogie Boogie Bash is located at the Sonoma Terrace. It includes desserts, alcohol, and special seating during the Frightfully Fun Parade. This dessert party serves you a plate of desserts to your table, nothing is buffet style.
Here is a look at the menu:
All of the desserts arrive on a plate after you check in with the hostess, grab a wristband, and get seated. You can see that the plate is full of sweets and makes for the perfect photo opportunity! If you cannot finish your dessert plate you can pack your treats in a to-go box.
My personal favorites were the Red Velvet Bundt Cake, and the Orange Dreamsicle Rice Crispy Treat.

Drinks are included and you have time for at least two beverages during the dessert party. The cocktails are yummy, but are also very sugary! So I opted for red wine which helped cut the sweetness. However, I was able to try two of the cocktails which tasted as good as they looked.
Pictured below is the Sparkling Midnight Vodka, and the Sparkling Emerald Rum.
Both are very yummy! If you are not interested in an adult beverage, coffee, tea, and soda, are also included.
So was it worth it? For $84 plus tax, I felt like it was worth the price. This is an upcharge experience and not necessary to enjoy yourself at the Oogie Boogie Bash. However, if you are looking to make your night extra special this is the way to do it. The seating and view of the parade are awesome. You do not feel rushed, and if you do not finish your desserts your server will offer you a box to take them with you!
