Disney simply doesn’t want their cast or guests to die on their watch. If you get Covid and you are unvax, you have a 1 in 60 chance of dying. If you you get Covid and you are vax, you have a 1 in 88,000 chance of dying. I really dislike most of Disney’s decisions lately, but this is a pretty easy one for them. If you don’t like it, just don’t work or go there.

Vaccinating EVERYONE is the best way to end this pandemic!
It’s simple people. Just do it!
As an RN, I’ve given vaccines to those who understand and believe the science. And I’ve given monoclonal antibodies to those who are mostly unvaccinated and miserable with COVID or to those just exposed.
To the UNVACCINATED and those who don’t wear masks, YOU are why this virus has mutated to a much worse virus. And as time goes on it is possible it will mutate again and get worse. Do you want to take that gamble with your life or the life of your loved ones?!

If I lived in FL I would have marched with them in solidarity. This is just one of many reasons Disney has been pissing me off as of late. The company had stated they were going to do their best to accommodate people’s religious and medical exemption requests I certainly hope they follow through and honor those requests.

The Anti-vaxxers want to pretend that this pandemic will disappear on it’s own while they disregard science, medicine and the facts that they not only put themselves at risk but their family and any people they come in contact with. They don’t understand that they are prolonging the pandemic and they are the vectors that carry the virus and help it spread. The medical staff at the hospitals are overwhelmed and people who are critically ill from other medical issues and vaccinated can’t even receive the medical help they need because the unvaccinated are filling the hospitals and expect to be saved. If you’ve never been intubated or have seen what happens in a critical care unit you should never wish to suffer what those patients endure prior to dying. So give some thought to what you are doing and not doing to help end this pandemic. Don’t believe the false theories and ideologies that are killing those realize the truth and want to be vaccinated when it is too late. No this Covid-19 virus and it’s mutant variants can kill you. The vaccines can help end this pandemic nightmare and help restore our freedoms which is really what everyone wants. Help the medical professionals and hospitals. Do your part and get the vaccine.

oh geez, another internet doctor that somehow knows the medical history of every person on earth giving out medical advice, you do realize, bonnie, that both vaxxed and unvaxxed are getting and spreading the virus right? it’s a fact. its also a fact that 99% of people survive. pretty soon when the number of deaths from auto accidents is the same as covid are you gonna start shaming people for getting in their car and driving? stop being afraid and start living your life! I really feel sorry for you.

And what do anti-vax commenters here already or in the future say to those in the news who are dying of covid, begging people to get vaccinated? And family members of the dead saying vaccinate and children left without parents because they both died, begging those caring for their children to get them vaccinated. We’ve lost all common sense. If you get the vaccine you can still get the virus and spread it to others. If you don’t get the vaccine you can still get the virus and spread it to others. So those of you who are blaming the continuation of the pandemic on those who haven’t got the vaccine aren’t paying attention to the science. The only thing the vaccine has proven to do is that if you happen to get the virus your symptoms will be much more mild then someone who hasn’t gotten the vaccine. I talked to my doctor and he recommended that I get the virus, so I did. That would be my recommendation to everyone. Go talk to your doctor! So if you got the vaccine, enjoy the fact that if you get the virus it most likely won’t be very serious, but please stop shaming those who choose not to. Most of your arguments aren’t following the science. We need to learn to live with this taking extra precautions to those who are vulnerable. If we can’t eradicate the common cold or the flu, what makes anybody think we can eradicate this? Turn the TV off and do your own research.

Simple solution…all those who refuse to get vaccinated or wear masks sign form stating that should they get COVID-19 all hospitals are to refuse them aid. This solves the overcrowding and allows hospitals to focus on others.
Also, as a private employer they have the right to set requirements and guidelines in order to work there. Don’t want to do something? Quit.
