Earlier this month, Disney announced that a special Christmas Party would finally be coming to Disneyland Resort. The hard-ticketed event is called Merriest Nites, and it will take place for 5 select nights between November and December. Merriest Nites will feature a ton of fun experiences, including six different Christmas parties, as well as specialty food, drinks, and merchandise.
Now, Disney has revealed that the popular restaurant Blue Bayou will also be offering a special dining experience exclusive to Magic Key Holders who attend Merriest Nites. New Orleans Square will already be having a Christmas party with Tiana and her friends, but the party will continue inside of Blue Bayou for Guests who purchase the specialty dining package.
More magic to unlock! During Disney Merriest Nites, Magic Key holders who have purchased tickets to the special ticketed event will have the opportunity to reserve a unique dining experience at Blue Bayou. At the New Orleans Holiday Party, celebrate family and friends with a savory, Cajun-style culinary boil created just for these evenings and just for you! More details about this limited-availability experience, including reservations, coming soon. Tickets for Disney Merriest Nites are still available.
Blue Bayou is a signature dining experience within Disneyland Park and is very popular amongst Guests not only for its amazing food but also for its incredible location, right alongside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Here is more information on the dining hot spot from the Disneyland website:
Step into perpetual twilight as the nighttime ambiance of the watery setting surrounds you. Spot Guests embarking on a Pirates of the Caribbean adventure, as you enjoy an authentic New Orleans-inspired lunch or dinner. It’s a truly unique setting where the bayou is, literally, by you!
Kick off your memorable meal with Southern-inspired starters. Next, choose from a selection of authentic entrées—including signature dishes such as Jambalaya and Plant-based Cauliflower and Grits.
Favorite dishes include a surf & turf combo of split lobster tail and petite filet mignon with all the fixin’s… and don’t forget the nonalcoholic mint juleps.
Merriest Nites will begin on November 11, which is technically the night before the holidays officially begin at Disneyland, but Guests attending the party will be able to celebrate the start of the holidays at Disneyland when the party ends at midnight. At the time of publication, only two dates remain for Merriest Nites, November 16 and November 30.
